Bro, this is so crazy, I mentioned in another video of yours reading the secret. Just had some family drama and I had to remove myself from that space. I realised I was gonna be sitting down having a meal with people I was resenting so I just left. I felt some type of way, but after watching this video, I’ve just opened up my laptop and started applying for jobs after having just gotten my CV, cover letter and LinkedIn done. Good shit bro! The mind is a powerful thing. When I was broke AF, when I was at the very bottom.. I started to ‘feel’ successful (even tho I wasn’t yet) when I shifted my mindset and developed a plan. Attacking my plan daily and having a vision for myself allowed me to feel like I was already successful because I was on my way 💯

Sometimes we actually move farther forward in life by just remaining still for a little while guys.

The job opportunity and Instagram story sounds very similar to my story a couple of months ago. I stumbled upon this physical therapist’s personal IG page as well as his business IG page and I saw that he was an in-house physical therapist at a personal training/strength & conditioning facility that recently opened up. I was about to email him but instead went straight up OLD SCHOOL, picked up the phone and called him, he answered my call, and I asked him if I could do my Physical Therapy observation/shadowing hours under him. I also took the initiative to tell him I wanted to come into the facility to introduce myself and we could talk about the days and times I could do my observation hours. I took my resume as well. He looked at my square in the eyes and he said “I admire the fact that you were brave and bold to pick up the phone to call me and ask me to do PT observation hours, let alone took the initiative to come in and introduce yourself. Not many people have the courage to do that that takes courage.” That physical therapist was actually in shock that I found him and he was curious as to how I found him and I explained how I did and the interconnection of him and his business partner. What I really want is to work under him as a paid employee on a part time basis while I finish up my prerequisites at the local junior college and to be my mentor and write me a letter of recommendation for my physical therapy school application. I felt like I made a real genuine connection with him.
