Fun fact: Jeremy’s RC of him pictured in the snow is not an SSP. If you can find his rc where he’s pictured on his couch grab it. It’s as rare as hens teeth
Tom Brady & Peyton Manning both won Super Bowls with two different teams .
C’mon Chris how do you miss this?!?! Do you know how powerful TB12 is? You better public apologize or he could have you wiped from CZcams. Only from CZcams if you’re lucky!!
I am here for a public apology for missing that Tom Brady did in fact win a Super bowl with multiple teams
I think Chris was just testing us. Lol
I’m sure his publicist is diligently putting together that public apology right now
@@erikpierre6227 I sure hope so. You know Tom already has his people in action.
I don't understand how Edgerrin makes this list, but no Marshall? I can't FAULKin' believe that! They were both awesome, just like this vid. Thanks for sparking up those memories, Chris. Take care
Faulk was definitely better but his RC was a junk wax year (1994)
Yea I’m Faulkin pissed off 😤 😅
Nice word play btw 🤝🤝
I miss Upper Deck SP cards 😢
When you said Peyton Manning is the only quarterback to win Superbowls with two different teams I was like- well what about Tom Brady! Great video, I learn a lot!
Caught that too. I am surprised they are the only ones.
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first (not the only)
@@collectorinvestordealer I didn’t even notice. Just a fun card video, no big deal. My friend and I were saying how great your card knowledge is. I think you’re allowed a slip once in a while ha.
i blame the research department!!
Yeah I had to rewind that one.
Orlando Pace, Walter Jones, Jonathan Ogden are the entire reason I watch out for o-lineman rookies.
Looking forward to your next video, The 20 Most Valuable Toyota Camry's of the 1990s. Just think of the price discrepancy between a PSA 10 Camry versus an ungraded used version!
We need this!!!!
PSA 10 Camrys have been on absolute fire this year
@@collectorinvestordealer my buddy got a hybrid Camry from a dealer....it's so shiny and smooth. PSA 10 all day!
SP was the set that really changed the hobby back in the day.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Really informative.
I love 95 SP, beautiful and simple design I've ever seen 😁
The SP sets can be bought very cheap. Even now. I wish I’d bought 1993 years ago. But I do own 1994-1996. With 1995 being my favorite design.
Really great I've added several to my want list as a result of your videos like this. Thanks Chris Really as usual really good job!
Thanks Chris, have a safe and very happy holiday season, appreciate the knowledge as always.
Man ive kinda always an infatuation with cards, always had alot as a kid but never got the passion then but idk something about watching your videos since ive found you has made me wanna start collecting.
Thanks for a great series!!
Terrell Davis went to only six Pro Bowls because he only played six years. Injuries destroyed so many careers.
Still love every one of your vids, great job,
I believe a guy named Tom Brady also quarterbacked a win with two different teams.
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first (not the only)
No Tim Couch?!?!? Ryan Leaf?!?!? That's surprising!!
The fourth rule Chris forgot was no GOATS 😂
If I had included them, it would have been all Leaf and Couch cards which would have been no fun
Bro I got the couch psa 11 grade
Crazy info on the Favre. I wonder if there’s any other known case (any sport) of 2nd year card topping the RC value? Seems quite rare. The 52 Topps Mantle is the only other example that comes to mind.
Jason Taylor has three Rookies my friend the SP, the Collector's Choice #330, and the Collector's Edge Extreme #92.
I overlooked that!
Fun video thank you
This video is a few months old but been buying some rookie football cards lately and the raw prices for such great players makes it very fun and easy to collect.
incredible upload
Great video to start a Monday morning off 😊Some of the O-Lineman on this list are the reason I try and find low serial numbered rookies for players like Quenton Nelson. For the trivia I believe Bledsoe is the only one that will not get in to the HOF, but Vinatieri and Belichick aren't eligible yet but will. I believe technically all four quarterbacks have a ring because Bledsoe was still on the roster when Brady won his first? Thank you for this video Chris, this one was a lot of fun seeing both the junk wax era and the mid late 90s sets featured 👍
Correct on both!
My Pro Set is looking better and better now. Woo hoo! Stay safe from Newfoundland
Go Growlers!
Nice trip down memory lane, this was my beginning of collecting football cards. The 1998 SP Authentic RC’s are #’d out of /2000, not /1500.
Good call, correct on that
Chris, I know it’s hard to keep track of all the cards produced over the years, Kurt Warner’s best card may be the playoff contenders finesse gold auto. I know this because I bought the 1/1 years ago and sold it, another major blunder, there are also finesse gold autos of him out of 25. In my opinion the Contenders finesse gold is one of the nicest cards ever produced. Thanks, enjoy your vids.
His criteria is base cards only.
as always great video.... surprised that Tony G. wasn't higher on the list considering what he did for the TE position.
He does not have the right Dna.
I have that #4 Kurt Warner contender card in a card sleeve in I’d say great condition didn’t real it was worth so much in raw Condition…..cheers
I have a question about a particular vard that I have.
Thanks
When I was young I collected all the 90s football cards with him I loved looking through my football book knowing I was collecting alot. I didn't think of them being money back then but now I'm curious. I have a bunch of cards I haven't seen on the internet and idk where to go to to get an honest answer used to have the deck books but are they still being made or where do I go to see
HELL YEA JONATHAN OGDEN WOW thats really cool to see
Darn I was hoping Jerry Rices. 24k gold pinnacle card was one of them.
I have a Bledsoe and Bettis sp, should I get them graded, put them in a hard case out of the pack as a kid.
The Brett Favre Topps Stadium Club is a misprint. His name is spelled wrong , it's spelled Farve instead of Favre. I'm sure people already know, I just thought I'd throw it out there.
I was always watching for another company to misprint his name after that. I spent almost two decades looking for a “Bert” Favre card. In vein I might add.
@@jpmnky lol, yea that'd be a good one.
Great video. Where are you getting your raw card values from? COMC? eBay? Other?
Yeah just a mix of ebay and COMC
@@collectorinvestordealer ok got it. Yeah I've found it's hard to quickly look up raw prices at scale. One card here or there is relatively easy on terapeak / eBay sold listings, or COMC, but I was not sure if anyone had a centralized database of all raw card prices (like an old Beckett price guide but searchable )
Never heard of the SP and the 90s for cards were crazy
Man PSA's business model really sticks it to the consumers. Want your $10 card graded? Send it to us, pay us $120, and if you're lucky it will be worth $200
Yeah weird... they raised the price just so you wouldnt send 10 dollar cards until they caught up.
I bought the Gonzalez Chrome in PSA 7 for $5. Good enough for me, lol
The fella that said all 4 QB’s got rings gets one himself. Yup and Bledsoe Vinatieri Belichick are non-HoF’ers is right. PS. Gotta tell ya, I prefer Beckett all the way over PSA. Nothing’s perfect (in most cases) so therefore how many 10’s are not really so.
I think I have some of these cards
you said Peyton Manning was the only QB to win super bowls with 2 different teams? Hmm who won the Super Bowl last year lol... it's all good.. we all make mistakes. awesome video
Was just thinking what about Brady?
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first to do it
@@collectorinvestordealer I figured that... was just having some fun, you do such an awesome job and are so accurate on everything it was just nice to have some proof you are indeed human and not a machine sent from the future, lol. 😛it's like pointing out a teachers slip up in class. I am definitely the student coming to enjoy and learn. Again you are the best in the bizz! (IMO)
Hey Chris love your work. what Jordan psa 10 long term investment would you go for? I’ve been looking at his 89 hoops but keen to hear ideas. His 87 fleer is out of my price range
88 Fleer, 89 Fleer, 92 Topps might be some options
@@collectorinvestordealer thanks Chris!
Great video, question who are these people thumb downing your videos? Is it the same people?
Im not sure but I dont think thumbs down can be avoided no matter what your video is
I LOOOOVE THAT BETTIS, I GOT MOST OF THESE. ALL 10 I BELIEVE, ALL GEMS. THE CHROME MOSS IS BETTER THAN THE SP. WHAT ABOUT THE P MANNING COIN RC CARD, ON A GREEN CARD BACKGROUND.
Brady also won a Superbowl with two different teams...
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first (not the only)
@@collectorinvestordealer I figured it was either that or denial :-)
You mentioned in the late 90s most players had like 40 rookie cards each. And yet some think thats the only junk wax era. Justin Herbert alone has over 700 rookies from 2020. Way too many parallels and variables with new stuff in my opinion. I'd rather buy GOATS and undervalued HOFERS like some of these guys. Great work as usual Chris. The Browns firing Belicheck was a typical Browns move. I'm curious also why Topps never did Tiffany sets for football. I bet a 90 Emmitt Smith Tiffany would fetch a ton if they made them back then.
Good question about tiffany... I am not sure. Topps did it with footbal exactly one year in 1990. But only the main set, not the Traded, so Emmitt does not have one.
Did they ever do any Tiffany basketball sets??
They never did a tiffany basketball. They did one in hockey (1990) and one in football (1990).
Trivia 1. Vinatieri,Bledsoe,Belichick 2. 3 and 3. Manning is not the only QB to win a Super Bowl on 2 Different teams.
Correct on #1.
#2: all four have rings (Bledsoe got his as a backup)
#3. Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first (not the only)
Dig that Jason Taylor card. Also a big fan of his sister, Joy ;) Man, does she have any cards? If they haven't already, they should make an autographed set of female sports broadcasters. I think it'd do well ;)
Panini brought back the Pacific Omega set for last years Chronicles issue. One of the weirder brands I've ever seen
I still think Champ Bailey sounds like a pre-war baseball player
@All Time Sports Cards totally, good names
Ha!
1. Bledsoe, Vinetari and Belichick arent in the HOF (the latter 2 either being active or too recently retired) 2. All of them have rings
Correct on both!
Adam vinatieri raw cards are found for $195 on ebay.
Man what a great video, as usual. Belichek cards are selling like crazy and you can get a sealed box pretty cheap on ebay. Almost makes me want to do it but getting a Bill card in a 10 would probably be pretty hard as I recall those Pro Set cards being pretty cheap cardboard.
Tom brady rookie card holder! I know you in here! 😆
Just curious. Does the presence or absence of the protective film make a difference in grading?
It doesn't matter. If the film is on, the film is what gets graded as the surface. If the film is off, the actual surface is what is graded and not having the film is not taken into consideration. The crux is in the reselling. Some buyers want the film on. as they consider that to be an unaltered card. Other byers don't care and just want the card and the grade.
It makes no difference when it comes to having the card graded. When it comes to selling the card though, it's a different story. A PSA 10 card with the original protective film will often sell for more than a PSA 10 copy without.
More often than not, substantially more $.
I have 3 of those Bill Belichick Pro Set cards lol
Undrafted Kurt Warner! Shout out, Jeremy Donson!...Speaking of which, Jeremy said something in your guys' conversation that keeps coming back to me. The thing about him not really being into The Beatles. I gotta ask: Is it a drummer thing? I know Ringo didn't have the effusive technical rock prowess of a Keith Moon or John Bonham, but what he played on those Beatles songs is perfect! :) Or is it a pro-Rolling Stones thing? That their tunes/recordings are bluesier, grittier, groovier? Inquiring minds want (need) to know!
Good question. I'll ask him next time I talk to him.
@@collectorinvestordealer yessssss
No Marshall Faulk a little surprising
Yeah I was surprised at that also
Favre is still #1 All-Time in 3 stats and will be FOREVER
I have a Brett Favre and sold my Peyton Manning.
i got the emmitt smith 10 score rookie. I got an aikman 9.5 and bettis 9 rookie few months ago for $100 all together.
I’ll give you $120 for all three and that is a 20% profit.
@@willbryant9297 lol. they valued at $2k now for the 3. Bettis about $75-$100 and aikman about $400. Hey month ago i got aikman auto football, emmitt auto jersey, montana auto auto jersey, griffey jr auto baseball, pete rose auto pic/plaque, marris auto pic with ticket from record breaking game, ozzie smith auto pic/plaque, magic/bird dual auto pic, shaq auto pic/plaque, mantle auto pic and jordan auto jersey. balls in cases, jerseys framed. you wont believe this. all for $1000 total. i run a pawn shop.
another guy got stan musial auto hat, montana auto pic, tiger woods auto pic, 2 ali auto pics, whitey ford auto pic, and 4 jerseys...not signed for like $375. Maybe not quite as good of deal but $1000 - $1500 worth at least according to 130point. identical tiger auto pic sold for $700 recently.
Terrell Owens, Drew Bledsoe and Marvin or James
Don't 3 out of 4 of the quarterbacks of the list have super bowl ring warner manning and farbve only bledsoe doesn't have 1 right?
TB12 just won a super bowl with a second team this year!!!
How did Ryan Leaf not make this list? I'm assuming it's creator error and oversight...
Totally overlooked him!
@@collectorinvestordealerughh you disappoint me I have a leaf PSA 11
The reason there are so few QBs in the top 20 cards from the 90’s is because the 90’s hardly produced any QBs that are hall of fame caliber. Between 1991 and 1998, the only good (not hof) QB to join the nfl was Drew Bledsoe.
Brady ...Buck. and Pats
When you say junk wax era, how many more cards were printed? Perhaps 1990 certain set vs now 2020. Cheers
Print runs are unknown but I would guess the total number of cards printed is somewhat similar
Fact; Adam Vinateiri would have not been ever born into this cruel world if it hadn't been for Lt.Colonel George A.Custer (General Custer), Custer at the time a Lieutenant Colonel, ordered Private Martini (Adam's great, great, grandfather), to deliver a letter the night before "The Battle of the Little Bighorn in June, Of 1876, Custer chose Pvt. Martini because he was a newly acquired immigrant from Italy and Custer thought it's really not his is war?....if Custer had chose someone else, Private Martini would have been killed and Adam would have never been born....Custer, the inadvertent Hero.....😮 True Story...
Chris, 3 of the 4 QBS actually won a SB but Bledsoe should have a ring thanks to Tom Brady. So, technically all 4 QBS have rings.
Yeah Bledsoe got a ring and an iron lung in the same season...😁
Bledsoe won the AFC title game when Brady got hurt. So he did play a big part in getting that ring.
Correct. All four have rings
Chris i want to buy some i need deal
Hey Chris, 1st in... let's do it
We have a winner!
Trivia - Bledsoe and Belichick not in the HOF. All have rings. Bledsoe received one but didnt play.
Correct. Adam Vinatieri also not in the Hall as he isnt eligible yet
Belicheck , Bledsoe , and Viniterri are not in the HOF , all 4 Quarterbacks have rings , Bledsoe was still a member of the Patriots when they won in 2001
Correct on both!
Do this including grading fees roi
12:20 correction adam vinatiri was not drafted either
Ah great catch! I missed that one
All four should have rings
Drew lost to Brett
But was still a part of the team when Brady won
Three of the four quarterbacks have Super Bowl rings. All except Drew Brees... Adam Vinatieri, Edgerrin James, Bill Belichick & Drew Brees are not in the hall of fame...
All four have rings... Bledsoe won his as a backup in 2001
think Tom just tied old Payton with the SB wins.....
How many official RC does Herbert have?
Good question... a lot!
My guess is all 4 have rings and 3 not in HOF.
What is “junk wax era”?
14:54 The “only” quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two different teams?
I caught that too, research department is getting written up again lolol 🤣
I’m guessing he was reading from an older article lol.
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first to do it
@@collectorinvestordealer it’s all good, I just enjoy hearing you call out the research department.
15:00 uhhhhh tom brady? lol
How is manning rc so valuable when the rarest of his rookies is draft pic?
Excellent video. You have a few on here I need to add to my HOF RC PC. **Bledsoe, Vinatieri and Belichick are not in the HOF. Both Vinatieri and Belichick are locks when eligible. 3 QB's on list that have Rings. (Favre, Manning and Warner)
Correct on #1.
#2: All four have rings (Bledsoe got his as a backup)
I didn't realize Bledsoe. What team? I see he only played for 3 teams. N.E., Buffalo and Dallas. Those years none of those teams won a Super Bowl.@@collectorinvestordealer
I think in 2002 he was the backup to Tom Brady and the Pats
@@collectorinvestordealer Ok I remember now.
Not HOF: Bledsoe, Vinatieri & Belichick + All QB’s have rings *cough (Bledsoe)
Not in the hall of fame... I'd guess Bledsoe, Vinatieri, and Belichick (even though the latter two will be in). And all four QBs have rings (Bledsoe won a ring backing up Brady). Speaking of Brady, he has more than all 4 of them combined (Crazy!)
Correct on both!
15:01 wait what??? Great video but come on.
I love your videos Chris but Peyton Manning is not the only quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two different teams. Did the guy who played up here in New England for 20 years who won 6 Super Bowls with the Patriots and then la dee da went somewhere else and won another Super Bowl. Just setting the record straight on that one LOL
Chris, this video is why they check you case at the airport when they think your cards are cash. They want to steal the money from you ----Cash Grab Investigation: Government seizes billions in cash from air travelers (Part 2)
BarnStormin Badass Kurt Warner🤙
3 out 4 Qb's got rings...but they all played in superbowls..
All four have rings. Bledsoe got his as a backup
@@collectorinvestordealer dang it, I forgot about 2001.. I still can’t believe they cheated I mean beat the rams in that game.
3 superbowl qbs, Bledsoe only one not to have one
I know bellicheck can't be in hof yet, I think champ hasn't gotten in yet? I'll guess vinitari isn't in and then Ed james isn't in.
Champ Bailey is in the Hall Of Fame Class Of 2019!!
All four have rings (Bledsoe got his as a backup)
The three non-HOFers are Bledsoe, Belicheck, and Vinateiri (last two are not yet eligible)
Why are the raw cards so cheap it's the same freaking card
How do u check for the psa 10?
It's probably time to find a new research Department. Mabey Tom Brady could help.
Haha!
Not putting Marshall faulk in this list is insane! He played with 2 hof quarterbacks and won a super bowl with the rams....wth?
He is certainly better than a number of guys on here but 1994 was not a good year for FB cards value-wise
all 4 qbs had rings. if you want to split hairs on the other question - only 2 "players" listed are not in the hall of fame, and 1 coach. question asked about players.
Correct - good point on the question wording
Tom Brady won a Super Bowl with 2 teams... haha
Slip of the tongue. I meant to say Manning was the first to do it
