Hey I'm trying to find the address to the store and am having a hard time lol, can you update the Facebook page with location?
Great review, Mike. Thanks!!!
Thanks TJ!
Hmmm. It doesn't look like the way you installed the tubes would actually feed air into the air stone. That bottom connect is just a hollow collar that snaps around the top of the filter, right? There's no tube from the airline in to feed air into the bit with your air stone? If so, then the airline feeding into the collar is just bleeding air into the uplift tubes and bypassing the air stone. It's just dead weight on the system. I think if you wanted to use the air stone at the bottom, you'd need to feed the airline down the tube itself so that you could snap it into the filter and connect to the air stone. Of course, then you're blocking part of the uplift shaft with airline.
Maybe there's something I'm not seeing here. It just looks like the air stone is near the flow of air, but not actually part of it.
Your actually spot on. There is no connection. The bubbles come out at the base of the ring that clips on to the filter. It's an amazing upgrade. But it would be even better if we could still use the air stone but I guess you can't have your cake and eat it😅
Agreed. No need for the airstone
Thanks for sharing!
Your welcome Matt!
Just ordered mine!! ❤❤
Nice Erik!
Quite cool actually, good flow for a sponge filter
I thought so as well.
Yeah I'm def buying some
I have a few on order as well
Do you know if this will fit on an ATI sponge filter? Seems like it might. I already have some running in my tanks but would love to use this tube on them but don’t really want to remove the whole sponge filter because of all the beneficial bacteria already built up in it.
No it’s designed specifically for the coop sponge filters.
Very nice review! I just had 6 kits delivered today. Now I know I don't "have" to use the Ziss air stone....lol but probably still will 😁
You don't need the air stone, the air collar at the bottom of the Easy Flow kit, alleviates the need for the air stone. 🙂
@@candioverhuls1003 Thank you, Candi 🤗

Thanks Audra, hope that you enjoy them!
Thanks Candi!
I just added mine to a 20g long....I like it, gives more movement to the water
I just ordered a bunch more as well
Have you had any issues with the air collar clogging with gunk?
Not so far! I haven't had them for very long though
What is the minimum height of the aquarium needed so that the tube when attached to a sponge filter doesn't stick out of the water?
I am not exactly sure on the measurement, depends on your tank size. I think you could probably fit one in a 5 gallon
The pump went out on my 15g fluval flex. It's cheaper to buy the small sponge filter with easy flow, than to replace the pump. Plus this will give flow which I need to go over my biomedia. I've never had a sponge filter. Does ot come with the airstone and if so where does it go? I thought you just plugged the airline in and that was it. I know you have to put the uplift tube on, but is there anything else I need to know? Why am I just now hearing about an airstone after I bought it. Not your fault I know, but am I even going to be able to use this without an airstone?
If you are using the uplift tube there is no need for the air stone. The sponge filter and uplift tube are all you need
@FishTankBarn ok perfect...do you think it will be fine because I'm going to use it solely in my 15g fluval flex that has the back chamber. The sponge, heater, broken water pump, biomedia and all are in that back chamber
@@FishTankBarn the sponge filter won't fit in the back chamber
@@FishRfun what size sponge filter. You might have to try the nano. I don’t have a lot of experience with the global flex tank
@FishTankBarn I bought the small but it will fit...no sponge filter will fit in the back chamber. The sponge filter from aquarium coop that's coming right now is going in the front pary of the tank because the water pump is broke, and fluval is helping me find a a replacement part
I really want aquarium Co op products but since I am not from America I can't buy it 😓
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully someday they can ship worldwide.
Only works on their filters from this year and now it’s included? Very small market.
The filter I installed it on on the video is a least 2 years old of not older. Works on all the filters except the old nano because they have a smaller top.
@@FishTankBarn Ok maybe I misheard you. I thought you said only their filters from 2023.
@@oqsy nope just the nano
👍
Thanks for watching!
@@FishTankBarn You're welcome. ✌️
The green color makes this a nonstarter.
I could understand that. You probably could hide it behind some plants with the green color.
So Coop basically copied Swiss Tropicals Jetlifter design.
I wouldn't say it was copied. It is similar in design and your can't really use a jetlifter on any of the coop sponge fitlers
For a cheaper price, it is a win
This product makes no sense. When the water from a straight uplift tube reaches the top of the water column it will move outward in all directions. This will not improve your water circulation in any way.
Reduces splatter on lids.
I definitely saw a difference in the flow pattern. It is an improvement over the filter with no modifications.
Unless I’m missing something … this product just appears to be a worse HOB filter. Directing the flow seems kinda useful but not at the cost of looking at the monstrosity.
I mean it will allow you to direct flow in a specified direction and it honestly should aid in the bubble sounds. I personally never liked air stones in my tank but, this makes me reconsider the option a bit.
@@jedeo299I have w seachem tidal 110s on my 55g. Sponge filters are great for large amounts of tanks because they're cheap. They're definitely not the most efficient at anything, but I'm buying one fir my 15g fluval flex because the pump went out, and this is cheaper than a new water pump and uplift housing. I do think it will add flow simply for ambling angled like it is. It's not much, but it's definitely an improvement
