Me, whenever I hear this divine melody, the lump in the throat forms and the eyes get wet.
And how happy and proud I am to know that Maro spreads this magic, this deep feeling through thousands and thousands of people.

It's breathtaking, it really evokes all sorts of joy and pain in an overwhelming few moments. I think I'm going to sob at the semi finals 🤣 greetings from UK!
As beautiful as this song and live version of it is , and with its power to touch peoples heart with its powerfully beautiful harmonies, incredible soulful vocal harmonies performance, it just might be the song that surprises everyone and land among the top 5. I would not be complaining if it actually won the hole thing, because it really deserves it. It has a bit of tribal feel to it, like it has roots in folklore or something like that. And the songs has an incredible and unique way of conveying the message of the strong longing for, and really missing someone, is so laid bare in the songs lyrics and the way it is preformed, that is mind blowing, which is why I can understand how moved you are yet again by this amazing song. It is easy to tell by the way you reacted to it because in this version you get an even better feel of the emotions involved, and it is the effect it has on me as well as a lot of other people. I started crying now too like the first time I heard it when they preformed during the festival do canção, because of the simple, but mind blowing, moving beauty of the most soulful song I have heard in a very long time. The juries just might realize and appriciate that the song is really about something very recognizable that the majority of human beings goes through every day, these emotions, melancholy, and the powerful longing of someone or even something that is absent or missing from your life either by having passed on, or a relationship like a precious friendship that you really cherish , or you like happen to have met and spent time with the love of your life and for some reason are no longer together, and miss that person beyond words. I believe the Portuguese lyrics of the song describes it the best except for saudade (longing/missing someone or something so much you can feel it to the core of your body like the heart, the soul, through ones entire being), here translated into English:

We've seen it happen before, a song makes an instant connection with the audience and it defies all odds. So simple yet effective. I really hope it is appreciated for its message and value, because it would be a crime to see this NQ. In that case, I will say what I said in my reaction, it only needs to have affected one person, just one, and it's a winner in their eyes, more value than a trophy 🏆 (though the trophy would like nice in the living room 😆)
@@JarydReacts Yeah, I agree with you, it would be a true crime if this song were to NQ because it is way too good to not do that. But I think the song really is a trophy in its self, and for those of us who love this song it is already a winner 🤓😁A trophy of course always would look nice in the living room😅, but I have a feeling that the amazing down to earth artist behind this song, would appreciate much more that her song has won people's hearts and set their emotions and soul on fire sort of speak 😊🤓 I think that qualifies as the real trophy for any preforming artists 😁

You probably had never heard the word Saudade before , , but I'm sure that after listening to the song you felt what it means even dough it isn't easy to explain exactly what it means.
What matters is the message that the song conveys ( Melancholy and hope ) so important for the current moment in Europe. It will move on to the final if Europe votes for MARO.

Did you notice that one of the singers is holding a baby throughout the performance? I find it amazing and so sweet. It’s one of the singers on centre left, if you are facing the group. Love it and love your reactions.

Let me congratulate you on your reaction. It came accross raw (didn`t seem staged). You showed your emotions in a very soulfoul way and did occasional comments while engaging in full with the melody and lyrics and absorb all they have to offer while being respectful to the song, the performance. Your choice of words after the performance were as beautiful as Maro song. They were simple, concise like Maro lyrics to express the full extent meaning of Saudade. The full video was just right. For that reason I decided to subscribe and believe me.....it takes a lot to get me to subscribe a channel. Channels I`ve been watching videos for years I`m still yet to subscribe. As one says it`s not about the quantity but the quality and quality comes in different shapes, tones, presence. As a Uk resident you can`t vote on Semi-final 1 but if all goes well hopefully Portugal will get your votes on the Final. Greetings and lots of love from Portugal.
