It's whoever first beats the other 2 players in a round robin, between FZD, XX and ZQH.
If FZD wins this one he wins the tournament. If XX wins, then it's 1-1-1, and they go again (with a one set showdown)

Beating both Zhou Qihao and XX, Fan ZD won the Marvellous 12 of 2020,.
With it, he got a ticket (one of the 5) to Teams Worlds in March and a check of One Million RMB, (roughly $150,000).

By far the best game of the year so far (which isnt hard as we are only 4 days in xD). XuXin surely had it on his racket but Fan prevailed again with sick shots in close moments. SICK GAME

Holy Cow! That's unreal from Fan. All those push and punch blocks were perfect. No one can beat him with that!
That enormous tiebreaker game broke down XX’s spirit I think. It was at that time that FZD realized he could win it and got a huge second wind.
Fan is something else. He changed the game in the very fourth one. He played like I've always known him for. I'm really proud to be fan of Fan!!!

Hoping this global virus scare stops before March. Table tennis standard and style have advanced so much since the Waldner/LGL days. The spin, speed, and angle are so much more powerful and drastic. Singles & doubles' Rallies are so spectacular. Being able to watch it ALL HERE is incredible. Greatest and deepest respect to the uploaders.

Fan Zhendong is slowly beginning to show the dominance that Ma Long used to assert. He is in the form of his life! I guess a lot of credit has to go to Coach Wang Hao as well

Fan Zhendong is in the clouds, wow! How he counters Xu Xin’s spiny loop with almost flat angle to cross table, is the best backhand technique against heavy topspin I have ever seen.
His footwork and anticipation once he gets away from the table is sloppy though.The forehand hes makes at 4:18 is just cringy.How long will he last with all that squatting and jumping?
Really appreciate both men's sportsmanship. The body languages are just great for both men.
This boggles my mind that people are able to do this to such a continuous degree.
They are my favorite two players.

FZD, with his new/wonderful BH block, he'll be No. 1 for a loooong time. Might have to thank the loss to LYJ's perfect BH flick in T2 Diamond that forced him to develop/perfect this technique. He retaliated in Nov 2019 Austrian QF but it seems he's advanced even more here. Both know each other's game so well, only on-court performance can decide the difference. Happy and enjoy it so much. Thanks for the upload.

FZD, after losing in Diamond 2019 at Singapore, has sharpened and improved his game to an unprecedented level. If not out of form, I don't think anyone can go past him this year.

a good match. FZD now plays smarter. he knows better when to use power and when to withhold it and apply other techniques instead to return a ball, which makes the game more fun to watch. XX's backhand has improved a lot and this makes him even more difficult to deal with.

Who turned on FZDs buttons? He was heading towards disaster at the middle of last year. This is at a theoretical level that I cannot even comprehend.
That match was so intense I had an adrenaline spike just for watching it.
Fan Zhendong just finished a match with another player and 30 minutes later, he played with Xu Xin. Obviously in game 2 and game 3, Fan was exhausted. After winning game 4, he was back again. Really Fantastic.
FAN CRAZY JUST CRAZY IN THIS GAME
It is interesting how much both push after the serve. Especially FZD usually has great opening flicks but both are cautious of the big counter loops of the opponent and neither really wants to open the rally so we see often 3-4 pushes before somebody opens the rally with a topspin
