No memes, this is why Attila is my favorite Campaign. (Mechanics wise, not the time or factions.) You actually get to play campaing and need to make decisions. You feel like the world is against you wich is perfect for the time. This is how the growing chaos should work in Warhammer.
When I played East Rome, I had to retreat back to Greece and Western Anatolia, and I basically had to larp as "Greater Greece" while beating the shit out of the Huns and barely holding off the Sassanids and their lackeys to the East. But it was worth it to build hordes of Eastern Armored Legio and explosive onager howitzers. All in all it went a lot better than my attempt to migrate Western Roman armies to Ukraine and establish a Slavic Pagan Roman Empire.
@Þaymrick Ólafursson. Later on I did manage to pull it off, basically I migrated to Ukraine, founded one city and used it to convert to Slavic Paganism, and then I migrated to Kazakhstan on the edge of the map. It was very much worth it. I had massive food surplus everywhere thanks to those pagan temples.
@@solidusraiden2502 hun stacks spawn all over Eastern Europe, but if you’re at peace with them and pay them to fight enough people they tend to leave you alone till around 430s when there’s nobody else left to target. They love hanging around northern Italy and the balkans so if you aren’t at war with them or in those spots you’re usually fine. You may get a 5 turn span of them raiding your lands but if you can ignore it they’ll move onto a war target eventually.
Bob The Top they added a new major update with the political system to make it something worth to pay attention, fix some common AI problems, it has been optimized more from it was already, and finally and very important, they solved the desync problems with multiplayer co op campaign, so yep, can finally play multiplayer with some friends and not get desync almost like once in every 5 - 6 turns
Not gonna lie I never truly had problems with plagues in attila if you keep positive higene they jjst don't happen and since you play as rome you have acces to best building for keeping higene that is unless you go christian route.
Man the rhythm is great
Count bodies likes sheeps on the rythm of the after-end-turn reports. :))))
Wouldn't it be nice if there was a decline button, that way you can just refuse to acknowledge anything is wrong with your empire?
We want to rebel
No you don't
Okay
Trait: Honorius and Arcadius Mentality.
Too realistic
Oh my goodness. "Fun and interactive"
"How to play East Rome" is taking a bit longer than expected; I'm hoping to finish it before next week but no guarantees.
Can't wait for it!
Where is it
Should be out this coming Wednesday (for reals this time). Sorry for the wait, this month's been unexpectedly busy :/

So you did a historically accurate Eastern Rome run except you condensed 8 centuries of their history into a few decades.
The forces of chaos sure do love their plagues...
