      @@deekesh7321 In other interview, Director VP was insisting on the same. Star actors should start looking into new ideas and fresh scripts, rather than making mass movies with old scripts. As you said, if that should be the case for Beast or Valimai, it should be a huge leap in Tamil movie Industry.

    Chennai 28 part 2 is one of the best sequel in my opinion. If not more, I always at least value it as much as drishyam 2. The way part 1 music and characters were used to make the connect and the overall screenplay was brilliant. Such an under-rated product ❤️ #chennai28part2

    Producer Suresh Kamatchi in Friday Facts interview mentioned that he insisted that Venkat Prabhu gives him the full bounded script before starting the movie. As a fan it was thrilling when the pattern was way beyond brilliance exhibition of what Nalan or Karthiksubburaj does ...
    Am a VP fan ..to me Mass is my top favourite and during Briyani the comment to VP usualy was screenplay is good where Is the story ...to troll that criticism he did tremendous screenplay games for first half and second half was 3 x or 4 x of story in a single movie. .
    I wish VP starts charging high renumeratio for his top class ideas.... I wish its responsibility if heroes to ensure VP gets big paycheck .. just because he doesn't have ego cant take him for granted. Am waiting what would be his next after party and ashok selvan movie knowing the taste of #maanadu success.

    Really loved Manadu. one small way the time loop treatment could have been improved is - when Simbu wakes up in the plane again and again he can wake up to a song/ music that's happening inside the plane. In Groundhog day, the protagonist wakes up to the song playing in the radio and the commentary of RJs that set him right back in the context of the same day. This also adds a bit of audio storytelling. And as the time loop keeps happening the audio (song/ music) will add a layer of meaning in that scene. In contrast Surya can wake up to a contrasting sound/ song. That was one small detail i missed in the movie.

    • @CultureKonnect
      @CultureKonnect Před 2 lety +1

      @@HariHaran-kf5nf don’t think the prayer is exactly when Simbu wakes up. She recites ‘Kaakha kaakha…’ and then he says something and there’s some conversation between them. Then the waking up happens. Afaik he just wakes up. There is no audio cue there. The aeroplane alert sound/ announcement, the nearby people’s phone blaring a song mistakenly - these could be the cues for him waking up. On the other side Surya can wake up to a RJ/ fm radio song

But one thing that’s probably itching me since the release is Simbu’s intro. This will probably a question for #AskBR

We all get to enjoy these movies with subtitles and this is the best movie of the year for me a north Indian, thanks to its most relentless fast paced writing and highest entertainment value. The discussion with the brain behind this movie deserves the highest attention from your side. If needed I will pay good money to have subtitles in this video. Btw, This October-Ten is VP Bro's daughters Birthday but also the Date of Loop (Regular and Reverse) like 10-10--2002(10/10-20/02)
    Which we can also view like the first set was the regular time loop of STR(1010) but next loop refers SJS(2002) reverse version of Time loop.Also our BR sir made this 10:10 as the Video Duration for his review of Maanadu.

    Thankyou BR. Your interview of Mark Anthony, Maanadu was mentioned as a classy film.
    Just watched it on Sonyliv , and what a Masterpiece. The brilliant script and direction by Venkat Prabhu was flawless. The BGM was another character in the script. Awesome YSR. Editing was Perfect and Incredible.
    STR and SJ.Suryah were perfect. Loved the Mass introduction scene of the antagonist, and the swag of SJ. Suryah.
    Caught in a timeloop myself.
    Th 1st time was thrilling enjoyable.
    The 2nd time is you marvel at the editing, the execution,the craft of Venkat Prabhu, and ofcourse SJ.Suryah moments . His "Thalaivere" dialogue delivery in the 8 minute scene has me in awe of his talent.
    This is a Masterpiece

    Really loved the movie... Still not out of maanadu hangover even after 4 days...

    • @sacchirajgopal
      @sacchirajgopal Před 5 měsíci +1

      With all due respect to the talent and art of Kamal and Rajnikanth.
      SJ. Suryah in Maanadu cannot be done by any other actor. Kamal in Nayagan and Rajnikant in Dhalapathi own their roles .
      Similarly SJ. Suryah killed it as Dhanushkodi.
