Just had my 2020 ZX10R Custom dyno tuned also. Snatchiness of the throttle disappeared throughout the rev range. Power is just 2nd to me. Am really happy with it.

I have used Woolich racing software on a couple of my bikes.
It means if you make more mods you can retune it
Also you can customise the bike to how you want it: throttle maps etc
Its makes your bike more of a fun hobbie and you learn more about your bike

So really no more power? Just a fix of dip at 5K RPM? Or did it pickup throughout the RPM range, needed to see the before and after over each other on the graph.

I got my 2009 flashed originally from Jett tuning a long time ago, and it was $400. At the time, flashing was brand new

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all those lines at the bottom supposed to be straight across if the fuel-air ratio is correct?
Straight is ideal, but only if its at a good afr. Bad afr Is bad afr regardless of how straight the line is. As long as its within so much of that centre line then it's good. But there's so many variables with getting it bang on. My afr was next to perfect but it still smells rich🤷♂️
The 5000rpm power dip was caused by ecu flash (so the turner did a poor job?) or originally already there when you bought the bike?
Probably already there, most modern bikes have a dip there due too emission regulations. Tests are done in the lower rpm range so the maps are most of in that area. but it's kind of surprising the first map didn't really solve the problem. Normally a buy and flash map is created on a fairly similar bike.

So if I have a dyno tune on my bike and later I reduce the weight of the bike via changing the exhaust and wheels, etc., then do I need to re dyno tune the bike in accordance to the weight change?
the weight shouldn't matter but exhaust (not just a slip on) will
Depending on the bike. For a hayabusa the stock ECU is miles better than anything. Because aftermarket can’t control as much as the stock one is.
You can have a flash and a tune
So a person can only get either a flash or a dyno tune? What I’m asking is that there is no such thing as an ecu flashed dyno tuned bike?

On the 2021 MT09 Yamaha claim 117HP but actually it’s 106-108 I don’t understand why and why people are getting different number for the same bike on dino
Lots of variables that are much different between shops and dynos

Does a dynotune remove restrictions like a flash does? I got a zx14 and I'm torn between a dynotune and flash. I got a two brothers exhaust and high flow air filter.
I have an 09 Connie with zx14 headers no cat to an x pipe into dual two brothers S1R’s and a K&N air filter. My power commander took a crap and on Monday I will be sending my ECU to get flashed. Can’t wait
