My knees hurt just watching this 😂
I have shuttered knees from injuries and the thought of doing squats really gives me shivers.
Though I need to get stronger in my upper body.

There are other exercises you can do besides squats. I recommend working with a physio to find out how best to rehabilitate after injury. But squats done properly are safe for the knees of most people. Squatting is a primal and natural human movement.

90kg? Holy cow! That's more than I weigh at all. You're lifting weights even more than my pregnancy weight too 😮
I'm nowhere near this type of work-out. I've got chronic illnesses and the medications make me weak in the bones, joints, and muscles. My fiance and I have 10lb weights we both use for basic at home work-outs and I only began using them after I had our 3rd baby in July and I was able to move our daughter's room around on my own, dresser and all. I can even lift our couch on my own to clean it and when we first got it I couldn't. Im working to find some exercises that are good for the abdomen after major surgery because I've had 3 c-sections to give birth to my children.

I would really try to consult a physiotherapist on how best to rehabilitate after surgery.
I will be making videos in the future on beginners workouts but those will still assume that any problems arising from injury or illnesses have been resolved. If not, expert guidance is required.
As there are many physiotherapists teaching pilates, and that is core focused, that might be a good avenue for you to explore.

I’ve started to add in high intensity to my workouts after our discussions. I’ve been mostly hypertrophy training (1-2 reps to failure) which works for growth but takes a lot more effort and time. I’ve now started to do some kind of hybrid between the 2 methods by adding the intensity into my working sets and it’s really killing me. I know what you mean when it feels like your going to collapse at the end

The time saving side of this is the main appeal to me. Yeah I could spend hours in the gym each week but I'm doing well spending around 1 per week.

What is the weight on that squat for 20 reps? I have only ever done front squats. Okay, you said 90kg later on, pretty good

You could use front squats if you prefer. I'd recommend having a mirror or someone to help guide you to make sure your form doesn't break down as is typical towards the most difficult parts of the set.
