U can see what it's doing, but if its a preffernce as its followed the presetures, then pretty much part of, under its frame.

@@allenschaeffer3628 1-3 are amazing. 4 screwed up a bit with the originals of the patriots but 4 also has some of the best action set pieces and cinematography of all the games. You’re right, everything after 4 was just gratuitous and it was clear kojima wasn’t that invested anymore.

I imagine it's closer to the philosophical definition, being that deconstruction is a big deal? In that case I'd say that Shadow of the Colossus is much more important than the MGS franchise

When you beat the game and when the credits is over. The main menu shows back up blasting this song. Yo it feels super different. It felt like you were in a sleeping coma and you just woke up from hearing the truth. Changes the whole perceptive and your way of thinking. Just the spooky, mysterious and unlocking the truth vibes you get from this song. Not alot of games do this. Nowadays mainstream media won't allow games like this to go public again. They want people to stay sleep.
the entire game is pretty heavily based on a bunch of conspiracy theory pamphlets and books from the 80s that went from fringe to extremely dangerous in the wake of the last election. specifically "behold a pale horse" by milton cooper. dude might have been a bit nuts but the silent gun mechanism cooper outlines is more or less what arsenal gear is, but with information instead of money. you know how people talk about how kojima predicted the future? well, its because he read a bunch of "conspiracy theory nonsense."

mgs4 marked the beginning of the end for MGS, TPP was complete shit as a metal gear solid game, GZ was just a demo and anything after that we don't talk about. just look at what kojima made after TPP. death stranding. it's 100% made from his head and it's also utter trash. no wonder konami threw his ass out of the picture, since he was keen on wasting budget on hollywood faces and making a delivery boy sim. i like kojima, i respect him and mgs 1-3 are great, but his visions are more mature for cinematics and has expressed interest in making films.

WTF is with the new MGS Survival ? Big Boss ends up in a wormhole seems to have no correlation with Patriot or MGS narrative. I understand creative liberty you can't just slap MGS on there for outter havens sake.
