Yeah, it's absolutely incredibly 2000s this music, takes me back when times were so simple. Sadly the new games in this era wouldn't bring those aesthetics songs anymore.
@@me-rc1871 this takes me back to 2009 or 2010 cause that it was the year i have to play this game (2001 i was like 3 or 4 month old so is impossible to me playing this and any game in that year and yes i don't understand nothing until now that i have 18 years old and i replay the game, i think the last time i play this game i was 13 or 15 years old and skiping all the cutscenes)
I mean, I've always liked this track, but listening through it on monitor speakers, without the added pressures of protecting Emma, you can really appreciate the effort they put into this track. The build up, the bass line, the drums as the tension builds. Love it.
Lmao i remember i just wanted a little help bc the aiming wasn't the most precise and then he just shoots it all for me... I felt like the biggest loser.
Closed my eyes to this, thinking about year of 2002 my childhood and first time I inserted this weird game to my fat ps2 console and there was no google no CZcams nothing about that much of internet sh!T. Remember then this game took my 7 months to finish without any help and my lack of English.
This is probably my favorite track from the entire soundtrack. So eerie and ambience in comparison with other tracks, only being rivaled by Arsenal's Guts.
I still cannot go thru this part without tears in my eyes. Her death and the pain of Otacon are things ill never forget. Damn, what a masterpiece of a game.
I played this song one time on my way to work. Was about 4 in the morning, dark and extremely foggy. Like you could not see more than 200 feet in front of you at a given moment, and there are times I remember driving into an infinite foggy black abyss because of how little you could see. It was insanely cool and this song fit perfectly.
OMG you just do not know how much you have made my day by uploading this man!! This song gives me the chills, I felt exactly how Raiden felt when sniping out the guards.
I always wondered why Snake hesitated so much. He had an arguably better shot than Raiden did and Emma surviving the events of this game could have lead to her having a presence in MGS4 and maybe Rising. You gotta wonder how Otacon would cope with his life after losing Snake sometime after the events of MGS4.
This plays in the background of the bar scene in season one episode 7 of better call saul hard to hear but certainly is this song EDIT *it was season 3 episode 7*
@@jr540123 it was in season 3 episode 7 in the second to last scene so around 15-10 minutes before the end of the episode. It was in the first song being played. It was mixed low with other instruments over it but with headphones on it is very evident to be twilight sniping
I wish they brought this kind of music back it has so much character to it..
SMASHED the hammer on this nail! YIS!!!!!
Whole game needs a remaster to Rival FF7's
@@jr540123 its just so advanced and game has pretty visuals nd cutscenes. They should remake mgs1,2 and 3 with upgraded gameplay.
@@TheSnake0444 And HD ports should be made for all the modern consoles, maybe even in a cool collection, like the Legacy Collection on PS3
The genre that mostly embodies this aesthetic today is Barber Beats.

this game has some of my favorite art and sound design of all time. techy and sleek as fuck. love it.

the bad news is, even with native english proficiency you'll never make sense of the plot.
Excellent theme. Every time it is dusk I always think of this song lol. Brings back a lot of nostalgia when I listen to this track.
AMC STUD indeed, this is one of the most memorable parts of the game

Absolutely love this game

Just completed this thing yesterday in Extreme... Tough.
So fucking smooth
The third theme is when you snipe. The first two themes are when you guide Emma to Strut L.
I live in the bay area and I always play this song when I cross the bridge during sunset.
A man of class over here.
3:40 that drop is so good
Sounds like what would play while fighting your True Equal in an empty Goodwill.
The three musics in just one video ? Exactly what I was looking for ! Thank you !

Poor Emma
I can't believe I sympathise vamp in mg4
Still my favorite MGS song from the series. I love how the song is presented in 3 stages.
RIP E. E
absolute love
Love this. Also I think it's Sunset Sniping :-P
Hear this and instantly remember accidentally sniping Snake and him scolding you for it.

love it
3:40 - 3:50 best part
Awsome.
How many metal gears do you see?
Three. Front RAY, right one, and two extra legs.
I just realized that the title is Twilight sniping and not Sunset sniping

Morron! Cit by snake
the best track of the game for the worst part of the game it kinda evens the situation out
I first heard this in a sgb let's play, anyone else?
I first heard it in my first playthrough of MGS2 when I was 7. :P
What bpm is this
About 160
It's ironic how the best song is in the worst part of the game.
