    I would think a great video would be your opinion on the best underload and overload assistance exercise for each of the 4 lifts. Or something like that.

    Every gym should have that lat pull down machine. I hate the stacked plates. You never know what the real weight is.

      Benefit to this machine is mainly that it's really easy to move around. I rearrange the gym all the time and selectorized machines are a bitch to slide across a rubber floor!

      It's a Pro-Maxima Brand. Most of their stuff is cheap crap, but I've had this lat pull machine for 11 years and it's still working fine.

    Class lifting andy . Are you running your powerbuilding template ?

      Not really. There are obvious similarities, but current program will be heavy on speed work

    Would it be acceptable to do banded close grip work as a supplemental lift on a heavy light split? EX: A) Press B) Banded CGBP 3x8 ? Thank you sir.

    Hi what do you think of superset for strenght, like overhead press / rest 2min30/ pull UP/ rest/ overhead etc....

    • @andybaker2413
      @andybaker2413  Před 6 lety +1

      Ok in certain phases of training, like building work capacity, or just when time is just very limited, but if training for MAX strength, I like more complete rest periods for heavy stuff. Now, if you want to do a couple of heavy top end sets and then perform some lighter weight back offs superset with chins, I'm fine with that.

      Andy Baker thanks Andy for your answer very appreciated! I know it is not the subject of your video, but what do you think is the minimum size for a coaching center like yours?

      @@andybaker2413 sounds about right. I like supersetting my pulls and presses but after I get around 70 percent. One of the exercises start to drop off

    I thought z-presses were done dead-stop from the rack. Not shitting on this variation, just thinking there should be a terminological clarification.

      I've seen it done both ways. You're free to call it what you want, but I've always heard/seen this referred to as a Z-Press after Zyundras Savickas. Good luck on getting the lifters of the world together in a room to take a vote. :-)

      LOL. We need to form a committee.
