    Coach, possible question for future Q&A: Any modifications to run HLM as an "every other day" program?

      Don't know if this helps but I do 4 days a week and my workout days are: Sat/Sun then Tuesday and Thursday.

    Sounds a lot like RPE. Except that RPE keeps you from getting in a jam in the first place.

      If they sound the same, it's because you failed to understand. He clearly indicated that both volume and intensity days could be maximum effort, and he never said they had to be.
