Friendly advice. Change boost to L, the two main weps to the R buttons and put boost and assault mode on joystick tap. You will thank me later. Would be awesome for someone to showcase how awesome this game can truly be. Changing gears makes the gameplay a hell of a lot different. Boost mode and assault mode change gameplay a lot. Don't use an auto fire option and you can use boost mode+boost to dodge attacks quickly and then change to assault mode to finish up the enemy only to change back to boost mode and boost to your next objetive. It is awesome!
You will be able to shoot, boost, aim, change modes and use sub weapons(if you wish to use them put them on the other L button) all at the same time. Everything you equip on your mech affects speed too. The more you equip, the slower you become. I generally roll with just two guns or swords and speed boosting equipment xD. Believe me, there is a lot to the gameplay :3

@@Meltedchair513 ya, game changes drastically. I changed my shoulder wep to y in order to put hermes booster on my other L button thou xD. Such a great auxiliary equipment if you want heavy armor

I have tried to play this but this is one of the few games on switch that give me anxiety along with Catherine Full Body so I'll just watch for the story
Constant flying only drains Stamina if you Boost? Best improvement to the Armored Core formula ever!

was looking something to fix my Armored core itch. come across this and sadly the gameplay dose not seem as intense as it was in AC4 or For Answers.
That's exactly what I thought when I saw this. I miss Armored Core. Would you say its still enjoyable as a non but similar Armored Core?
@@matthewroberts198 yes it is enjoyable but call me a masochist if you will but i want to be shot at all sides and using my quick boosters to dodge and wave incoming fire, relaying on my 3 dimensional situational awareness, quick response time and so on. you get what am saying?

Can anyone explain how to use Femto? I know it is an important aspect of the game.
Sure thing!
*1)* First of all, stored up femto - that appears as reddish plates on the shoulders - can be manipulated and temporarily transformed into 3 separate buffs of your choosing called *Femto Armaments* - how strong and long a buff lasts is dependent on the amount of femto stored. These buffs only transform the femto, they do not deplete your *Femto Gauge.* In the game, these buffs can be cycled through by pressing the ▲ & ▼ buttons on your left joycon by default (you can reassign buttons any way you like).
*2)* Once you get to a certain mission in the story, the *Mirage* ability is unlocked. This ability creates a duplicate of your Arsenal that can deal damage to enemies and depletes the femto gauge while in use. Clicking in your right stick is the default setting to activate Mirage.
*3)* Laser weapons in the game consume femto... And apart from a few exceptions, they're not really worth it, as laser weapons can run out either of their own ammo _or_ femto.
*4)* Whether you're playing with real people or AI partners, if their Arsenal gets downed you can revive them by expending 100 femto.
Just rape Casca, it's only thing Femto good for.

wish that Kojima Particle Technology was in the game, the only downside to it is that its highly radioactive and it is highly polluting. i wonder how PA(Primal Armor) dose next to Electromagnetic Armor? lastly i wonder how well a NEXT can fair against that big boss in the end? after all a NEXT have taken out Arms Forts 10x there size but then again size is not everything.
still not confident enough to pick this game, maybe wait for review come out

Well this will fill the mold for now and also another mech game I play on steam is MASS. These two do it until fromsoft one day makes armored core again which I hope they do.
