Developed by Raven Software and published by Activision, X-Men Legends was released for Xbox in September, 2004. A few hiccups aren't enough to hold back X-Men Legends from being a fun action game that should appeal to more than just fans of the comics.

I’ve played this game once and I loved it. I miss it. It’s one of the earliest favorites of mine. I’d like to play it if it’s available for Xbox 360.
This has to be added to the backcompat list
is impossible for me to understand why those IDIOTS Have not added both X-MEN LEGENDS and MUA and CASTLEVANIA CURSE OF DARKNESS in that damn list aside several others underrated games
For the Bridges Jean, Iceman or Magma can make Bridges.
Which was interesting you didn’t use Jean to make the Bridge.
Raven was such a great dev. Now they are wasted on COD
Great review. I loved Xmen Legends back when it released. Its kinda rough to replay now but i like that it laid the groundwork for Legends 2 and the Marvel Ultimate Alliance series.

The opening splash screen music has been stuck in my head since I was 11 years old.
I wish this game would've had a new game plus to give it more replay value.
You should review Brutal Legend next since that looks right up your alley.

Interested to try these. Never did, because I wasn't the biggest X-Men fan. I did really enjoy Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2, though. Played both of those on PlayStation 2.
If this was captured on the original xbox, the 720p looks great! I played it on the gamecube
Great games, I dropped the first one because it was incredibly frustrating, but I have X-Men Legends 2 on PSP and I loved it.
I'll give Legends 1 another try, of course.
Yeah XML1 is not an easy game.
Just the first 1/4 of the game is difficult.
Once you unlock the second tier of powers and boosts , it gets easier.
Certain characters and skills/builds make those early levels not quite as challenging.
@@robertmurdock1848 This. Being locked out of so much of abilities/characters can make things harder at those early areas.
@@robertmurdock1848 What do you recommend? Through my observations, I saw that having high focus will allow you to keep delivering powerful attacks regardless of what point you are in the game, I might be trying that out whenever i get around to playing it. And my observations are from when i first played this game as a kid but dropped it because it was super hard that I dropped it.

Sorry for the late reply, I must have missed your question in my notifications.
Generally, just put all stat points into Focus for most characters.
Once you get to level 14 , where Jean or Storm can cast their shields for the team, you won't be dying as often after that.
I usually use Iceman as a safety character and put all stat points into Body for him. Wolverine, Magma , and Emma also work well as all Body ( or 50/50 Body /Focus )characters, but everyone else needs all Focus.
Certain Danger room discs can give you needed XP bumps.
Grad Exam 400 is the major one, you should be in the low to mid 20s when you find it , after a couple of replays (without accomplishing all goals so it will still drop equipment, tech bits, and packs) you get over level 30.
The Exodus Cloak and Executioner Hood are two of the best damage enhancing pieces of equipment from level 18 and 20 until you unlock the Super Power Enhancer, but they are rare drops.
There is a "trick" to get them to drop though, pick up or buy all the Unique( green lettered) items Forge has , and once he no longer has any to sell , those pieces of equipment usually drop quickly during gameplay.
You don't get items from the forge....forge makes you items as forge is a actual character not a location.

that i own both Xbox physical discs copies and my petty worthless Series X refuse to play them
it really does not deserve the X as part of the name what a fiasco
i ADORE TO DEATH the X LEGENDS series 1 and 2
but i admit any day that X L2 had SUPERIOR combat and much better and satisfying mechanics
such crime to mutant kind that X LEGENDS 3, 4, 5, 10000 haven't happened yet
it truly does hurt
love my X people very dearly

Do they make it for Xbox series s I'm looking for it but can't find it
Seems like Xbox is the worst version of the game since it is the only version missing important items due to a bug. Nightcrawler and Colossus' comic books are missing from the game, but are there in the GameCube and PS2 versions.
PS2 is better than Xbox because the PS2 version has Codebreaker so you can start the game on level 99.
