Xbox
Yes
PS2
PS2/OG Xbox HD 720p
The Xbox version is the way to go for all of its advantages, from the best sound to the best visuals, it just is superior on the senses. Needless to say, the PS2 version is home to the usual issues, including its lack of filtering, texture warping, long load times, inconsistent frame rate, and inferior sound separation. The GCN version has texture filtering, slightly faster loads, and overall cleaner display than the PS2 version, but still no comparable sound or visuals in contrast to the Xbox version.
The PS2 version has texture filtering and no texture warping.
In fact, I have never seen a PS2 game with texture warping.
@@invrunner On 3:30, you’ll notice that there are more jagged, shimmered edges around textures and objects on PS2. This is either due to the lack of filtering or low filtering. This problem is not as apparent on GameCube and non-existent on Xbox because those versions use more effective filtering solutions. Also on PS2, textures start to shift and bounce around as the camera moves, kinda like they’re shaking.
TimeSplitters 2 also has very noticeable texture warping on PS2. You can easily see the warps and shifts a mile away. It’s most noticeable when staring at buildings as the camera moves slowly.
@@revenge1205 nah u just gaybox kid, i play on ps2 and no issue all 155 million worldwide people who buy ps2 agree
@@johanbire3296 Yeah, yeah, whatever.
Yeah, PS2 version (and gamecube to a lesser extent) sounds like most people's hearing when they go at a high altitude (having the sea as baseline), so on a mountain or a hill. On Xbox it seems to sound as clear as you could expect back then.
Thank you for the comparison. Was looking for an example for which rom to go for. I'm going for Gamecube. Again thank you!
Amazing Video.
Really wish this was backwards compatible with 360
Theoretically you mentions that all versions are 640x480 but you can clearly see that for xbox it’s not the case?
The resolution comparison says 640x460 for all versions so was the xbox part mislabeled or where you actually running it in 480i instead of 720p for some reason?
This is one of the few games on Xbox with a native 720p resolution, thats why it looks better. It sucks this game isn't compatible on the Xbox 360, it also sucks that the WiiU doesn't play GC games. Guess imma get it on PS2.
a modded wiiu can play gc games
Can you do SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake?
Xbox ALMOST looks next gen, one of the biggest differences I’ve seen
Because this game runs at 720p on xbox, which is the main resolution of next gen (xbox 360) so no wonder it looks that much better

Nice
Xbox
Alguien me explica porque se ve mejor la versión de xbox si todos corren a 640x480
This game has a 720p mode on Xbox
porque el canal escribe puras mentiras, el ps2 si corría a 480p pero en xbox iba a 720p
I like GameCube
gamecube 👌🏻
Xbox win......Fatality!
The PS2 version is better because of the action
cinematic features and the fight scenes for this
game works just like in the movies.
