The uncaged version is so badass!
PS3/Xbox look the most graphically impressive. Looks like an uncharted game but with Wolverine in it. PC looks even better I think. The color looks deeper. Not so washed out. I'm always impressed still seeing these types of games run on a Nintendo DS. If you look at it this way, The DS has had tons of [official] Demakes. I think that's pretty cool and impressive. The GBA had a good amount probably but the DS had way more. PSP was pretty impressive considering you can take the game with you and it fits in your pocket. The PS2 version always looks similar to the PSP but a bit nicer. PS2 is usually capable of a bit more polys, a bit more special effects and lighting and a wee bit more anti aliasing and color pallete. The wii version is a bit better than the PS2 but I think it's a more noticeable change than PSP to PS2, plus usually the Wii version would have a higher framerate.
I'd imagine right now for the best experience, I think that playing the PS3 version on RPCS3 with some nice shaders would be the answer. Maybe upscale to 4k or 8k but I'd be fine with 720p. I dont need anything too high on a 17 in laptop.
@@supermonk3y07why bother with emulation when you can easily download pc version since it's abandonware? PC version naturally supports hig resolution, gamepad and smooth framerate.

@@supermonk3y07 definitely not, PS3 version looks the worst out of all three 7th gen systems. It's too bright! 3:34 look at the textures on the ropes of the bridge for example, compared to X360/PC. The light erases the details! The X360 version looks the best, tbh, but PC version doesn't need any fiddling with emulation so it basically wins by default.
@ELEKTROSKANSEN I like bright. Games around that generation were too dark imo. They all looked like you were playing them through a gray or yellow instagram filter . Some were dark and you had to raise the gamma pretty high on the options setting or even the TV to be able to see
I kinda love how there's so many versions of this game that are all different. There's literally 4 entirely different versions of the game. All (somewhat) based on the same movie. And they're all good to decent games. PSP's more similar to the PS2 version than the DS one was, but even then, it's still different. And the PS3/360/PC version is almost like an entirely new game compared to Wii/PS2.
So I mean, if you enjoy one version, you'll probably enjoy the others. Not sure about the DS version, but at least the rest. Similar gameplay, but a different enough game to warrant playing each version.
Only real downside to the PS3/360 version is the framerate. Man, how nice would it be to get a modern remaster of this game. 4k, 60fps, maybe some extras added in because why not.

This game is one of the best X-Men and superhero games in my opinion, before the Wolverine game is released, hehe.. Btw I like the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC versions, but if I had to choose I'd prefer the PC version, hehe..

Play the pc and psp versions, the pc version for those who don't know you can Parry. The PSP has everything censored, the only thing that's good here is probably the grabs.

They do, of course, due to technical limitations, but I actually really enjoyed psp version back in the day. What is cool that they are not just downgraded graphics in the same game. They created unique versions for different generations, that were entirely different games basicly

I've been playing the ps2 and psp versions recently and... I'm surprised to say that the psp version has better gameplay even if it is a much shorter game
