Warriors gotta move on from Kerr. He's loyal to his guys, but it's getting in the way of what's best for the team. Time for Moody and Kuminga to replace Klay and Dray in the rotation.
It feels like the league has caught up and passed them by, which is insane because they established this style and now all the young guns are taking over. A few seasons ago half their wins would be blow outs where Klay and Steph dropped 25 / 35 and Dray locked down the defensive end, now every time they get any lead you wonder 'can they hold on to it or will they gas out..?' If Klay didn't get injured and they drafted Haliburton I think they could have won 1 or 2 more for sure.
This probably wont age well, it'd be wise not too overreact to a team that hasn't had its second best player for most of the year, and 3rd and 4th best players have literally had the worst start of their careers while playing so far the hardest schedule in the league.
they weren’t that good last year either injuries or not they will probably finish middle of the pack again maybe even worse but they are nowhere near the 4 championship warriors anymore
I feel like the warriors will figure it out without the rest of the season. I don't see them going deep in the playoffs but I still think they will straighten things out
They could still stay with the team if they came off the bench or took less money, but both seem too proud to do that. Remember Dray said on PG's podcast that Chris Paul will mentor Kuminga and make him take the next leap. Well, CP's injured now, and Draymond's still playing over him
The real best option is keeping all 3 but Klay may need to lead the bench as a 6th man & be their Manu with CP3 dishing to him & keep Green as the facilitator for the starters & build a better lineup but i doubt KT & DG would take the type of team friendly deal to make that a reality
They have made key blunders as they move into the future. The fact is Draymond should’ve been signed to less than 100 million, and Klay needs to sign for less if he wants to stay too. Neither are able to produce at the level they used to be able to… and if they had just committed to less they could sign some free agents and or trade wiggins for other key pieces while the young guys develop. They did not do that. They’ve made a lot of key errors in signing new contracts. Draymond should’ve been on a short leash for over a year, and he struggled to contribute as much as he needs to so they are competitive… but the defense has slipped and the offensive output also declined. Klay slipping has been the nail in the coffin. With the contracts they have they lack any flexibility moving forward…
it’s crazy too cause they drafted great pieces that in theory should have kept them contending with wiseman and poole but just couldn’t develop them mentally and physically
The dynasty is close to over but idk about totally over yet. People have been sorta hyperbolic but i do understand that only steph is playing like he was before and so on
yea, I think Kerr and his coaching staff have done an extremely poor job of adapting to the new nba, his motion offense has been a turnover party throughout his tenure, and the margin for error for the warriors now is smaller than before Kerr still sticks to this set because it won him championships before, klay and Steph have a lot of mileage on their legs, I'm not sure if playing this style of constantly making cuts/running around screens ALL GAME is the way to go. they need to diversify the offense, and consider looking at adjusting their philosophy/personel The warriors NEVER addressing the rim protector flaw for the last 3 years has been a DISASTER it's been putting more pressure on these older guys to stay in front all these athletic guards in the nba (has led to fouls, frustration, needing perfection from the perimeter defense) Kerr's stubbornness of sticking to getting high IQ bigs/6-8 hybrids (sticking to his motion offense) instead of getting a big that can protect the rim/finish lobs is why the warriors always look small, he's only thinking of offense/ Draymond green can carry the defense with less size, Draymond is getting older, Klay is getting older, Steph is getting older While Kerr is sticking to his same philosophy
I dunno. I really feel 2022 was their last hurrah, just like the 2014 Spurs. They've still been competitive after 2014 but enough to reach the Finals (yeah yeah 2017 WCF but I really doubt they would win against the Warriors.)
In my opinion. As long as we got Curry, we got a chance. Him + Looney carried the team through the first round last year. If one or 2 of Wiggins, Draymond, Klay, or CP3 play like they did in 2022 I think the warriors got a solid shot. Steve Kerr also just confuses me. Like how do his rotations sometimes work but half the time fail.
I predicted Klay being washed before the season started, and as for Dray, people have to understand that the NBA evolves and other teams got rid of their slow lumbering centers and power forwards that Dray could take advantage of, and replaced them with long fast slender guys and big strong fast guys that Dray cannot do a damned thing against. Wemby, Chet, Aaron Gordon and Porter Jr, there is a long list of guys Dray at his age and size cannot do much with. Then Wiggins just has not been the same since the last championship run. The Warriors could still contend if Wiggins was at his peak, and I have no idea why he is not. Curry needs at least one other deadly shooter alongside him, if not two, and they just do not have the reliable 40% from three shooters to go with Curry, so there are too many guys other teams can hedge off of to harass Curry. Now GP II got injured... But what we are seeing is both the championship core getting older and declining, and that other teams have made the adjustment to the new style of play the Warriors introduced and have young good talent to smack them around with.
I always heard that Draymond got away with a ton of holding and dirty play to allow GSW to play so small. But now that the league is once again dominated by big men, and GSW are old news, he ain't getting the same treatment.
The dinasty ended the moment the next gen stopped caring. Once Poole and Wiggins got the ring and the bag, they were set. Also, Draymond punching Poole and receiving no punishment sealed the deal.
You're wrong because they been having the hardest schedule and the bad luck of suspension, bad plays. Wiggins and Klay is clearly back and they caught bad luck with gp2 and cp3 getting injured that game.
Warriors need to think about their future and that likely involves trading Klay, Draymond and Paul at the deadline to a contender for picks (some blessed magic beans). Keep Curry.
Im a major warrior fan but im a fan of basketball and can accept this with a heavy heart. Especially when it comes to Klay, its sad. One of my favorite players and shoulda been top 75 those injuries ruined shit but cant hse that as an excuse cause they happen and they won a chip when he came back. The one move I believe could have saved them was drafting Lamelo Ball and putting klay to the bench
draymond has been good when he has played this season and his offense is nearly the best it has been in his career. the problem has been mainly klay, who is struggling on offense but more importantly is absolutely atrocious on defense now
And Draymond is a kinda a goofy wash too. His antics are just not cool and bringing the Warriors down. If teams know they can get him to react anyway they want him too that's not gonna help the GSW situation. And Wiggins... They just gotta get it together for real.
Can’t wait for the warriors fans in the replies to be commenting: “this is what they said in 2021/22” I mean you’re right. But the circumstances aren’t even close. Back then they struggled a little bit so ofc people were saying they were finished. But if you compared this season or last season, and then having actual losing streaks, with the same players as basically in 2022. Then you should be able to do some math and know that it’s over. They don’t have Jordan Poole, but they have 4/5 players playing most of the minutes from 2022. Yet they are struggling very hard. If you think that them struggling with those guys and without Jordan Poole. Isn’t any indication that it’s over then you can continue being delusional until the end I guess. But let’s be honest. When was the last time if any time, the warriors were up like 30 but still managed to lose the game? Has that ever happened in this warriors era? This happens in a lot of dynasty’s btw. There’s small little instances that show they aren’t who they sued or be, but are doing pretty well for most of the season, but then they go up against teams that are as perfect as the nuggets and you can tell they would get squashed.
Kuminga, Brandon, & Trayce r really coming into their own, while Klay’s better shot selection recently has stabilized things. I wouldn’t totally write them off yet
If I was the coach I'd move Klay for Zach Lavine. The Warriors need at least one other player who can get a shot off by himself, and he's at least available.
I think they (as in, this dynasty with the main three) have one more championship in them. Maybe it doesn’t come together this year. But it will come. All the pieces are there. Elite vets + a great bench. They’re just not all coming together yet. If the vets can let go of their ego and the new guys can develop I think they can get it one more time.
the problem right now is adapting to change. klay and draymond are past their primes, but they're still good players. they just need to adapt to lesser roles and cruise to rings rather than trying to carry the load in any way. but i agree with you about steph, that man is still at his peak, even considering his minutes reduce as he goes on, he will still probably be really good at age 40, which is crazy to think about. klay needs to get over his insecurities about being number 2 in a dynasty, but honestly scottie pippen is still not over it so idek how easy it would be for him to do so while he's still playing. they deserve more rings, this dynasty is not over yet, i honestly believe so.
I think that they will make a trade or buyout pickup and be a serious threat come playoff time. Once Wiggins gets into shape and Klay comes around they will start clicking. Never discount the heart of a champion. They beat the LACs last night.

Warriors gotta move on from Kerr. He's loyal to his guys, but it's getting in the way of what's best for the team. Time for Moody and Kuminga to replace Klay and Dray in the rotation.
Nah, the GM needs to do his job. Kerr’s coaching is fine
It feels like the league has caught up and passed them by, which is insane because they established this style and now all the young guns are taking over. A few seasons ago half their wins would be blow outs where Klay and Steph dropped 25 / 35 and Dray locked down the defensive end, now every time they get any lead you wonder 'can they hold on to it or will they gas out..?'
If Klay didn't get injured and they drafted Haliburton I think they could have won 1 or 2 more for sure.
Best take. The league has definitely adapted. "Warrior ball" is now the de facto way to win.
Well, CP's injured now, and Draymond's still playing over him
This video will rejuvenate their dynasty.
No my friend 😢 no
Fitting that a video on the Warriors window closing ended this era of Rusty Buckets
Love the content Rusty, keep it up
Great video as always Rusty. Keep it up
Dray and Klay wasting Curry’s time
Told it like it is.
The Warriors need to hire Mark Jackson to get the roster together so Steve Kerr can be a great Coach again
It’s crazy how much the point differential dropped after gp2 went out
The real best option is keeping all 3 but Klay may need to lead the bench as a 6th man & be their Manu with CP3 dishing to him & keep Green as the facilitator for the starters & build a better lineup but i doubt KT & DG would take the type of team friendly deal to make that a reality
Nah, Draymond has never been good enough to punch a teammate and be the problem that he is
🧢
Not the “Newsflash Buddy” 😂😂
it’s crazy too cause they drafted great pieces that in theory should have kept them contending with wiseman and poole but just couldn’t develop them mentally and physically
The dynasty is close to over but idk about totally over yet. People have been sorta hyperbolic but i do understand that only steph is playing like he was before and so on
yea, I think Kerr and his coaching staff have done an extremely poor job of adapting to the new nba, his motion offense has been a turnover party throughout his tenure, and the margin for error for the warriors now is smaller than before
Kerr still sticks to this set because it won him championships before, klay and Steph have a lot of mileage on their legs, I'm not sure if playing this style of constantly making cuts/running around screens ALL GAME is the way to go. they need to diversify the offense, and consider looking at adjusting their philosophy/personel
The warriors NEVER addressing the rim protector flaw for the last 3 years has been a DISASTER
it's been putting more pressure on these older guys to stay in front all these athletic guards in the nba (has led to fouls, frustration, needing perfection from the perimeter defense)
Kerr's stubbornness of sticking to getting high IQ bigs/6-8 hybrids (sticking to his motion offense) instead of getting a big that can protect the rim/finish lobs
is why the warriors always look small, he's only thinking of offense/ Draymond green can carry the defense with less size, Draymond is getting older, Klay is getting older, Steph is getting older
While Kerr is sticking to his same philosophy
I dunno. I really feel 2022 was their last hurrah, just like the 2014 Spurs. They've still been competitive after 2014 but enough to reach the Finals (yeah yeah 2017 WCF but I really doubt they would win against the Warriors.)
They need someone who literally step up like Kawhi on spurs. Wiggins is our choice 😅
It's the newsflash buddy for me. 🤣🤣🤣
Haven’t clicked on your video in about 2yrs smh. Remember when you were at 20k subs. Its great to see you at over 200k now
I predicted Klay being washed before the season started, and as for Dray, people have to understand that the NBA evolves and other teams got rid of their slow lumbering centers and power forwards that Dray could take advantage of, and replaced them with long fast slender guys and big strong fast guys that Dray cannot do a damned thing against.
This hurts to hear
It was fun while it lasted…
Lebron “ending” the dynasty is kinda Poetic 😂
The dinasty ended the moment the next gen stopped caring. Once Poole and Wiggins got the ring and the bag, they were set. Also, Draymond punching Poole and receiving no punishment sealed the deal.
As a dubs fan, you are spot on. I agree totally
Yup, just blew a 22 point lead to the Clips also. Its probably over, but not over if they can make some key moves.
Spot on analysis
They're a 2 week ankle injury to Curry away from missing the playoffs and it's only the end of November.
The warriors are growing and playing better. We’ll see come playoff time
Klay got angry at Sir Charles for saying he was getting older and suffering from the accumulated effects of his injuries. Denial.
“Decrepit old bastards”😂😂😂
Been a warriors fan since 90s. I’m used to losing. But it was fun while it lasted
They knew this day would come
It was over five years ago, bro!😢🎉😢
Whose here after they blew a 22 point lead to the clippers 😂
Maybe I am tripping, but I don’t remember you doing many sponsors on this channel Congrats on getting a sponsor.
Big moves coming lol
Once Steph gets visibly frustrated on court it's officially over.
You're wrong because they been having the hardest schedule and the bad luck of suspension, bad plays. Wiggins and Klay is clearly back and they caught bad luck with gp2 and cp3 getting injured that game.
Second year in a row with the most away games with the most televised games the league hates the warriors
injuries, suspensions dont matter they weren’t even good last year warriors dynasty is cooked your blinded by the warriors recent success
@@ia115no, it’s bc everyone still wants to watch curry.
@@Averagedre so you admit warriors have recent success these past games.
@@Averagedre I think you're blinded with their recent failure which they been been way better even with injuries from GP2 and cp3
That is quite a long dynasty as the main core remain the same for a decade. 2014-2024.
It’s over but people still think that they are in a dynasty
Warriors need to think about their future and that likely involves trading Klay, Draymond and Paul at the deadline to a contender for picks (some blessed magic beans). Keep Curry.
Rusty Buckets: Reprise us at the end of the season.
They chose veterans over development and this is what happens
10:24 Thats Muse for me 😅
Im a major warrior fan but im a fan of basketball and can accept this with a heavy heart. Especially when it comes to Klay, its sad. One of my favorite players and shoulda been top 75 those injuries ruined shit but cant hse that as an excuse cause they happen and they won a chip when he came back. The one move I believe could have saved them was drafting Lamelo Ball and putting klay to the bench
draymond has been good when he has played this season and his offense is nearly the best it has been in his career. the problem has been mainly klay, who is struggling on offense but more importantly is absolutely atrocious on defense now
and kerr as well, as much as i have loved him over the years
10:23 So the Golden State warriors are basically the Guns n Roses of the NBA😂
Pretty much, yeah.
There’s small little instances that show they aren’t who they sued or be, but are doing pretty well for most of the season, but then they go up against teams that are as perfect as the nuggets and you can tell they would get squashed.
warrior fans dont get this lol they had a great run but its wraps we saw the decline last year they couldn’t win on the road
We’ll see in the playoffs where it matters. I’m sure last year you thought sac would beat them
@@A62119Sacramento is fucking Sacramento.
Kuminga, Brandon, & Trayce r really coming into their own, while Klay’s better shot selection recently has stabilized things. I wouldn’t totally write them off yet
15-16
Trailer park boys rick outfit? I like it
Yeah I watched that game, and my mind go, wtf happened in the last few play? How the hell they make those turn over?
I agree
I’ve watched a few of your videos so I expect them to run off a 20 game winning streak now
Dope ass kitchen
Totally incorrect I'll come back to this when we win the title lol
If I was the coach I'd move Klay for Zach Lavine.
The Warriors need at least one other player who can get a shot off by himself, and he's at least available.
"I got one more in me"
Goated video
I think they (as in, this dynasty with the main three) have one more championship in them. Maybe it doesn’t come together this year. But it will come. All the pieces are there. Elite vets + a great bench. They’re just not all coming together yet. If the vets can let go of their ego and the new guys can develop I think they can get it one more time.
No
Steve Kerr was a better camouflaged Steve Nash man. Bro just out here riding past glories
the problem right now is adapting to change. klay and draymond are past their primes, but they're still good players. they just need to adapt to lesser roles and cruise to rings rather than trying to carry the load in any way. but i agree with you about steph, that man is still at his peak, even considering his minutes reduce as he goes on, he will still probably be really good at age 40, which is crazy to think about. klay needs to get over his insecurities about being number 2 in a dynasty, but honestly scottie pippen is still not over it so idek how easy it would be for him to do so while he's still playing. they deserve more rings, this dynasty is not over yet, i honestly believe so.
That being said, I wouldnt be surprised if they get in through the play in and beat a 1st or 2nd seed like the wolves
Seen this story before……… let’s see what we do this time
Draymond looks like he's ready to catch a body
It’s a month into the season what do you expect🧐🧐🙄🙄🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️💁🏽♀️💁🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️??? They usually don’t get really on their squares until January
Klank Thompson and Draymond technical foul Green holding steph back so let him come to lakers for Deangelo Russell.
The warriors do not dlo
The clippers game today went way better for the dubs. Without cp, gp and wigs. Dray defs stepped up this game made me smile 🙌🏽
Kuminga needs to ask for a trade
I think that they will make a trade or buyout pickup and be a serious threat come playoff time. Once Wiggins gets into shape and Klay comes around they will start clicking. Never discount the heart of a champion. They beat the LACs last night.
4 years of “warriors dynasty is over” clickbait titles and im still clicking on the videos
Bob Myers tried to tell y'all
I feel like them messing up on 2 draft picks in 2020 and 2021 cost them the whole dynasty
Thank God.
