The G502 is definitely a big deal when it's Logitech's only wired mouse to receive the Lightspeed upgrade as well as having little to no changes to the original physical design.
Where other Lightspeed mice were redesigns of older mice or completely new designs to accommodate the new hardware, they chose to endure the hassle of redesigning the guts of this thing to fit the battery, charging circuits, and powerplay compatibility all while also reducing the weight and keeping all the existing goodies from the original mouse.
They didn't have to do all that, but they did it anyway, for the fans.
The price went down from the original srp, and I don't intend to change mice anytime soon, so my jump from the Proteus Core to this was definitely a worthy investment.
Side note: Scroll up and down still isn't programmable and the middle mouse button probably still uses one of those tiny smd tact switches like the one I broke and had to replace on my Proteus Core, sad flaws to what is otherwise an upgrade in every way

I’m not gonna lie and say the issue isn’t real, but it definitely isn’t the mouse’s fault. Looking at the forums, the G502 much like some other mice are just victims of dodgy QA on Omron’s part, and the G502 takes much of the heat simply for being more popular
Can't believe you guys decided to finally give the G502 wireless try, just right after releasing the HERO 16K version of it! It's also impressive that the G502 LIGHTSPEED is lighter than the wired versions of it despite having a battery in. It's definitely going to be the best Logitech mouse since it now owns the best sensor and the best battery life at the same time. As if G903's 30+ hours wasn't already something, now we've got the double! The mouse of my dream, but I won't be buying it, not just yet.
I just wish you guys toned down its weight a little more though, to say 105 gr, because it's still a rock!
Best mouse I've ever used, has lasted me years, and despite possibly not the most careful treatment still functions just as well as the day I bought it. I love the Lightspeed. There is no mouse currently on the market I would rather use.
Oh gosh... I was keep going back and forth buying G903 for quite some time now. I loved the features, the wireless connectivity, the infinite scroll wheel... but frankly the shape, ergonomics, button placement, overall comfort is what still made me feel sorry to give up G502 for the G903.... But I have to go over to wireless. Eventually... but... but.... but... oh I'm sorry to put away my lovely G502. Which is perfect for me in every way except the cable. It's like abandoning a wife hahahaha. Then I saw this.... Holly mother of.... Oh now we have a winner. Divorcing G502 Proteus Spectrum for G502 wireless

How much does it weigh??? 127g with weights is nuts. on the 502 gen 1. I use a air58 and soon a Glorious Odin so wireless is great... layout and shape is great... but is it super heavy?
hi i lost the nano receiver of my logitech g502 lightspeed what should i do?
I bought this a month ago along with the powerplay. After a couple of weeks the left mouse button started either double clicking or not registering long press. Lost both gun fights and time while trying to edit photos and documents.
Mouse is great, switches are not. I’m stuck with the brand due to me buying the powerplay. Since it’s within the warranty I asked for a change of product. But still, I’ve seen a lot of comments on this issue so it seems it’s fairly common. Wonder why Logitech hasn’t addressed it at all.

Please improve on your Double Click issues, because I'm going to switch to another brand. Currently having G602, and the double click issues keeps on going mad. Most of the people encounter this issues.

Logitech I hope you read this. I have had the g903 for almost a year and love it. I bought the g502 lightspeed this weekend from all the hype and returned it today... a few days later. GREAT mouse but so heavy. I thought the g903 was heavy but wow the g502 is heavier so not the mouse for me. You all make great mice but it would be nice do make a much lighter mouse that kinda resembles the g903 or the g502. The shapes so far are the best Logitech mice for me. Please consider making lighter mice in the future. Thanks.

I am one of the user of G502 HERO. The sensor of it is spectacular but we need to consider the weight and mobility of it.Unfortunately,G502 lightspeed has a competiable sensor with G502 Hero and lighter with wireless vantage.:)
This product is unsatisfactory because LGS is not supported. I'd rather keep using G502 Proteus.
