I can't accept that MARVEL didn't notice the prominence of this actor in this movie and didn't at least make a movie just for him or a series, this is a work of art that leaves Flash behind.
There were several more X-Men movies planned, but when Disney bought Fox they literally put all of that in the trash. That was now 7 years ago and Dsney has still not contributed anything of value to the X-Men franchise.
Because they own the name and franchise. It's more about business than anything creative. You have to have the right director and actors lined up on schedules to make a great movie. Maybe nothing gets made until 2030 but it will still make money.@sherr

Man I just love Quicksilvers personality, no matter if it's an emergency or not, he still enjoys messing around with people for fun while knowing his priorities, like at 0:38 when he's about to save Moira, he just stands in a romantic dancing position while trying to kiss her for fun before saving her, later at 1:36, he just stands for a while reacting with disgust to the guy who's trying to kiss his girlfriend. Evan Peters was perfect for acting as Quicksilver.

Quicksilver in the X-men should have had his own movie, like a Baby Driver style aesthetics but with far higher stakes.
Quicksilver series. I don't think movie would work as well, he isn't as well known as other X-men characters. As series it could gather some following and then make a movie. Most definitely something that I would watch. Character is both funny and cool at the same time. A bit like Deathpool, but more child-friendly way.

For a speedster I loved the fact he was racing against time. The whole scene made you feel there was a chance he'd fail. That's what makes Marvel better... Flash would just save everyone in the snap of your fingers like it was nothing.

Such an imaginative and iconic interpretation of Quicksilver's mutant power. As iconic as seeing the Matrix's 'bullet time' effect for the first time. And Evan Peters' defines who this character is completely in such a short time. Still love watching this as well as the Magneto rescue.
There actually was a standalone Quicksilver movie, but it was in and out of theaters before we could even perceive it.

Its also more about the time Qs had them to react from seeing what was going to happen to Hawkeye and the Kid.
Like later in the explosión, to save the other kids, QS couldn’t grab them one by and place them outside anymore, he had to throw them outside.. same thing, you’re brain is just too slow to think of it.

It’s more like the slo-mo is turned off when he moves fast, he is constantly moving fast, it’s just seen in slo-mo and then shows it as his actual speed, we are seeing it in his perspective, also the explosion goes faster when he “speeds up”.
This is what makes his defeat in apocalypse even more sad. The guy made what he wanted in 1-2 seconds time-space, almost unlimited speed. There's no way that he could be defeated by anyone who is not as fast as him.

Best scene in the entire franchise
The last two saved have already realized their lives are in danger and have either just started running them selves or had already been in a full on run when Quicksilver catches up to them. No one up until that point ( including the dog ) had had time to process and react to what was happening. That's how ridiculously fast he is.
