Charles was too far in ahead of his time by his bio/ ecological concerns. His love and interest on architecture. Diana sticks with " domestical" interest. Children/clothes/ glamour. And the vast majority of people are like her. No wonder she was loved by people. Same level. Excellence seams despicable for mediocre people. This is the reason Charles was always treated badly. You could see the sadness in his eyes but it was a lovely ceremony with his son and devoted wife by his side who was looking very emotional . They will make a wonderful king and Queen Consort 😊
Such a wonderful speech...wow, I can't imagine having to do all of that within a day of his mother passing away...his eyes are so sad...but you can here the determination in his voice to do her memory justice

For the first time I am seeing in him what I saw in The Crown. A shy sensitive boy, not too outgoing and a little unsure of himself. He looks so overwhelmed and so visibly upset.

As much as he's prepared for this I think it must feel incredibly surreal considering the Queen just died. Also at 73 can't be easy to take on such an imposing role.
I could just make out King Charles say " it's very strange " to be king he has lost his mother a day he told the PM "he had been dreading" to loose a parent is not easily for anyone, but to have the world watching your grief must be awful 😢😢

She set an example for us all and I and many many people all over the world will miss her. Deepest sympathy to her family as we grieve with them for this outstanding woman who so often put the good of others before herself. Rest in peace gracious Lady. 🙏🏻❤️🌹

This is this first time since I heard the news of the queens passing that I cried! I truly feel heartbroken for king Charles and his family. I’m so happy he has queen Camilla by his side. His going to need all the strength and support he can get these next coming weeks and months.
I think he will a fine, good King. It's such a very very sad truth that the price of loving someone is ,I'm afraid,heartbreaking grief but he has good family to help him cope.I wish him and his dear family the very best.

However, his pr team should be more attentive at the details especially small gestures either looking flowers and saluting the crowd at Buckingham Palace or at St James Palace for the proclamation, where pens were not handy at all(why?) and the king showed his displeasure, rightfully so. The queen had a quality of impassiveness - quite useful in this position, one would guess.
Now King Charles can relate the pain his two sons had to experience since they lost their mother. God bless the King! Long live the King!
