i think tarrant suspected he was cheating because at every question he kept mentioning about him suddenly changing his mind and his answer
He never noticed or suspected anything he has often said
watch the documentary. He said repeatedly that he didn't suspect anything because he's so involved with hosting the show.
When the 500k question was revealed and major Fraud said "Well, I'm not sure" Tarrant said: "Major, you haven't been sure of anything since the question 2!". He clearly considered him a combination of mad and sus.
No he never suspected anything, There's a doc just months after all this happened in 2001

Why didn't the guy just cough when Tarrant read the question though? Why was there any need for Ingram to keep repeating all the answers because that's what gave them away, the weird way he was talking and reading the questions over and over. I don't understand why he needed to do that when the guy could have just coughed as it was read to start with.
Because the guy still needed time to think about the answer first, unless he has a super speedy brain

Yea well, you risk your life, other peoples life and childrens lives by drink driving Chris, even after being caught and pleading guilty to it. So ya know, everyones got something bad about them, at least what these people did never put everybody at risk of being killed by such a low act.

Unfair thar the show only isolated the tecwen coughs. Other coughs were there too. But they didn't put that in. It was defo one sided and made for the public to believe they're guilty. I do think they're guilty. But the show was one sided and the isolating was unfair imo.
