As a non-Brit, living across the ocean, all I can do is congratulate you. I have been avidly watching the preparations, practicing, drilling, etc of the armed forces. I have learned so much - and my admiration only grew. One thing I have known, and the Coronation just confirmed it - nobody can do it halfway as good as the Brits. God bless you all.

Took part in my school CCF Coronation parade as one of the two colour bearers today. Very proud to be apart of a historic event. Looking forward to see the real thing tomorrow!

@@bobsmith3291 Upholding the last remnants of a rich and glorious culture that is being washed away by multiculturalism and globalism.
Upholding the poetry of upward social mobility and keeping the possibility that a little boy or girl born into poverty today could someday rise up to be a King or Queen.
Tethering to our culture the family that has walked shoulder to shoulder with our ancestors through trials and triumphs for the last thousand years.
They theoretically should care about the welfare of the nation and people as they directly benefit from it's healthy status.
And possibly the economic/ tourist benefits and international prestige of the monarchy.
It's a slice of old Britain, before the Sikhs, Muslims, Jews and Chinese came to implement their own culture on top of ours.

Just watching these young people, dedicated to their task...there isn't a marketing tool you could have created ARMY, that was anything more truthful, then these lovely, young rays of protective shield to our country...forgive me, that includes all that participated in this...we always hope, that the younger generation out performs us...no ego attached...I'm one of ARMY's biggest fans, and NY Toms very British future wife MD, Veteran, ( cranky ), Middle E. & Cont. of Africa...I am proud, completely proud, of each of you...4th Angel/ET
You always make us proud, each Force.But the Horses make it for me, so I am biased.
Without the military parade on horses and all the regiments in their individual glory, what a dull event it would be. Instead you provide a visual feast for the eyes and admiration from everyone. Pomp and pageantry how it should be done. So much gold braid and spit and polish looks marvelous for such a historical once in a lifetime event.
Each and everyone of you are a part of English history now. As others always say, no one does it as well as the British.

My father Sidney Bowes, served the Queen's Grandfather George V, and was on the Guard of honour at Windsor Chapel Royal at King George V's funeral. He continued to serve
King George VI and throughout the WW2. My Dad was injured in France. My Dad's regiment, the Coldstream Guards (Nihil Secunda, second to none). He was my hero. He died in 2001. God bless you all you have done the U.K. and Commonwealth Proud. Thank you all for all the hard work leading up to the late Queen Elizabeth II , of happy memory, for the honour you gave her. Thank you for a wonderful Escort for His Majesty King Charles III and his Queen Consort, Camilla.

Hope the British Army is having better luck with these recruiting themed video's than what the U.S. Army has recently experienced with their re-done "Be All That You Can Be" recruiting campaign video's.
The Coronation of HM King Charles III is the greatest event of my generation. As a horse person, I appreciate the dedication of everyone involved in the mounted military units. Well done!

Above the Forge, used to be the Kindergarten for the Barracks, I still recall the smell of burning hoof-horn, as I took my son to & fro; I'd love to attend the Christmas Carol Service, in there :)
Horses get new shoes, too? For the Coronation. Guess they don't want to be left out.

As an ex-raf now joined the army reserves with 19 tank transport I was glued to the TV at home watching the coroation and want to say a massive well done and thank you for representing all is serving forces who could be a part of travel to see this in person,all three services looked fantastic, so congratulations to everybody you did us proud and thank you God Save The King
Hope the horse that spoked behind the state coach is alright. The rider did what he could as it backed into the barrier and crowd.
Everyone looked incredibly regal and in step.

Hope those farriers had the 5 years service required for the coronation medal, imagine working your guts out for the last 2 weeks and missing out.

The UK needs to scale down on these preparations and ceremonies. They are too costly for the taxpayer, and the UK is no longer the vast empire it used to be. In the current global economic setup, the only countries that can afford and justify such ceremonial expenditures are China and the United States.
I wonder if the American Army still uses blacksmiths?

It's been uploaded by the Army's own channel... Our brothers and sisters-in-arms in the Navy, Marines and Air Force put up their own content... And, to my knowledge at least (which I'll guess is a bit deeper than yours...), The other services don't deploy as many horses as the Army... Context Jason, context mate... Use it before belting your keyboard...
