- I've recreated Phil, Autoalex's Mazda MX-5! Phil is a 3 litre Jaguar V6-powered project car which Alex has been tinkering with for almost nine years at the time of recording. I decided to recreate what is arguably THE most iconic CZcams car and gift it to Alex as my way of saying thanks for providing his viewers with financial disasters/entertainment week in, week out!

All looks good and your detail is amazing. Only thing to improve on is the clear coat finish. It looks a bit rough. Maybe a wetter final coat or some light sanding and buffing. A polishing wheel on a dremmel may work. Impressively Good skills though.

Hi Jason , great resto, can I ask how do you scale/re-size graphics/images for decals?
I could go into the technicalities but truly, honestly, I get the best results by printing test prints onto plain paper and sizing them up against the casting! Once you have one right it’s easy to scale by eye for further decals. Trial and error really is the best method sometimes!

Just a regular old HP inkjet set to speciality paper for my decal paper 👍🏻

Hello Restos, are you using laser printer or ink for those waterslide stickets? I'm currently researching what to buy, and I'm kinda moving toward laser one as I don't need to do a lot of work prior application of stickers.

@@DieCastRestos Yeah, wherever I look ppl say Ink is more than enough for waterslide stickers. But for some reason, I'm always more toward laser. I will need to look more into.
