I was an Android user and I decided to shift to iOS. I had this confusion on choosing between 14pro and 15. But eventually I chose the 15 and I am completely happy now. Especially with the ability to change to portraits (which is super useful btw). The 60hz is a problem, yes, but its not that big of a problem because of the smooth animations of iOS and personally for me I dont mind it now

@@luminalscutiie651 I bought the 15 instead of 15 plus mainly because of its size. I am actually tired of using big phones. So for me 15 is perfect in terms of the screen size. But if you prefer a bigger phone go for the plus version(also will get the best battery ever in an iPhone). And yes there are differences, the main one is data transfer. I am from India and in here most people use Android. iPhone to iPhone transfer is very easy, but iPhone to Android, uhm that's not so good 🥴. Regarding the apps, all of the regular mainstream apps are available on the app store, so that's not an issue for me. So if you are in an Android community the data transfer part is the major setback which I felt.

To be honest when the iPhone 15 not been released the iPhone 14 pro camera quality was so great but I noticed after the release of 15 pro, the 14 Pro Camera became a major downgrade not the best of image quality unlike before!

Hello, on the iPhone 14 pro the deterioration of the battery is higher than in the other iPhones? I read several news on the subject on the web. My 14 pro after 9 months is at 94% and I notice a decrease in autonomy. I’m considering giving it in to get 15 plus. What do you think?

Yeah, in the presentation with the 15 series they mentioned new Lens coating for better/lesser lens flare than before. That is the difference i first noticed in the photos and videos comparison. Now if i Had the choice between both i would choose the 14 Pro bcs the zoom lens is very useful imo and the much better 120hz display on the 14P feels much more fluid.

@@LostAxosCan't watch the keynote rn but a quick look at phonearena's summary of the keynote shows both the 15 (Plus) and 15 Pro (Max) having a new coating for less flare. As shown in some videos from Mrwhosetheboss and others it doesnt affect the flare much.
@@peters.7428many tech reviewers did get this wrong tho, as far as I’m aware, apple announced it for the Pros and in various camera comparisons, there is always more lens flare on the regular model 15s than the pros
@@LostAxosYeah I absolutely could be mistaken. However even on the Pro phones flare in mid to low light videos and photos is still very much present as long as there are light sources like distant lamps.

Hi sir I bought samsung 23 ultra a week before . I wanted to know how to stop post processing of photos especially for 200mp camera clicked. When I click the photo is clear and after processing it becomes little blur and artificial. Please help . Tried all settings like turning off scene optimizer and softening.

After having a 3X camera for the first time last year with my 14 Pro I don’t think I could go back to a phone without that feature. I know 3X sounds modest but it has made a big difference for me in a few photos that would have been next to worthless if taken on my old 12 Mini. Hopefully next year they upgrade the standard size 16 Pro zoom lens to 5X or higher
15 also has 3 x option but its digital
@@busybee2148That's the thing I dislike with apple's approach. up to 4.9x on the 15PM is just digital crop. Pixel 7 and 8 Pro also have only 5x telephotos but combine shots from main and tele into one photo when zooming more than 2x so it is overall much more detailed than the fully digital shot on the 15PM.

personally, I bought the iPhone 15 a bit more than a month ago, it's AMAZING. I'm coming from a redmi note 10 (200€ phone) so there is a huge difference ! The photos look great, gaming on it is incredible and despite having a 60hz display (my old phone had a 90hz one) it feels fast and responsive, more responsive than my old phone, so I don't really mind the lack of 120hz refresh rate. The always on display isn't a big miss for me because I'm not a big fan of it but it's sad that apple still gives this feature only for the higher end models :( iOs is great : the animations are smooth and the dynamic island is pretty useful. It's not a reason to get a phone with one I think but it's a nice to have. The front camera and the sensors aren't really on the way when using the phone, but sometimes, when watching videos, a tiny part of it can be hidden but it's not a big deal.
So, for me, the iPhone 15 is really worth his cost ! Have a nice day :)
Coming from samsung s20fe 120hz screen. I hardly can notice a difference with the 60hz. Camera and phone as self is great. I still think some android functions are better, but for my day to day use the iphone is good enough
I came from a Galaxy S21+ and I love it. I have no regrets with switching, though there are little quirks from Android that I miss. I also don’t see any difference with the refresh rate. Oh and I love the dynamic island! Such a cool feature to have on a smartphone.

The biggest difference for camera system will actually be the ultrawide. Apart from the 3X zoom, of course.. the regular 15 straight up can’t even compete.
The regular 15’s ultrawide, as with any other regular iPhones since iPhone 11 have inferior sensor, slower aperture of F/2.4 and doesn’t come with any sort of auto focus capabilities.
iPhone 14 Pro ultrawide uses IMX633 sensor which is also found in iPhone 15 Pro, it has bigger sensor size of 1/2.55”, quicker aperture at F/2.2 and feature PDAF auto focus working together with LiDAR sensor.
In daylight, the difference wouldn’t be as much but at medium to low light onwards, the difference in image/video quality is night and day. The regular iPhones output deteriorate quickly, much softer around the corners, lacking details because it doesn’t have auto focus capability and overall output is much darker with visible noise all around due to slower aperture.
Also worth mentioning, even though they both have 48MP sensor.. 14 Pro and regular 15 have different sensor. The main 48MP camera for iPhone 14 Pro is the same sensor found in iPhone 15 Pro which is Sony IMX803. Featuring bigger sensor size of 1/1.28” and larger pixel size of 1.22um. It also has wider field of view of 24mm.
The regular 15 uses slightly new design 48MP sensor but comes with smaller sensor size of 1/1.56” and smaller pixel size of 1.0um with narrower field of view of 26mm.
I just got an iPhone 15 and it’s my first iPhone ever. I love it so far. I’m loving taking pictures of my kids! ❤️

Hmm, if we talk about main camera only, I'd go for something more future proof, since the difference will be barely noticeable however a smaller footprint phone is more convenient to carry around imo

I personally sticked to base iPhone 15 and its very good main camera because i have 2 tiny point and shoot cameras, a Sony W830, classy, old CCD technology and a more modern RX100 IV with much better stabiliser, low light, features, much better video,...
For anything "serious" i have anyways a proper mirrorless camera and a decent lens collection, thats why i always had non-Pro iPhones so far and most of the iPhones since 2014 were 2nd hand, changed every 2-4 years.
What about Pro res? Or cinematic mode?

Great vid. I have 14 pro max & 15 base model. 15 is surprisingly impressive.
Screen is not brighter on 14 check if black point is on or what is name is.
When shooting with sun behind, just like a dslr the exposure changes with very small variations and pictures is not taken exactly the same so it could be a random thing. Watched several hundreds videos like this. Sometimes older phones exposures better and so on. As you can se the iphone 14 have more overexposure then 15 and when having the sun behind especially there will be big differences. Best thing to test it is to press the ex/focus at the same point.
Also you can try the setting in iphone can't remember if it was the fps or shutterspeed, anyways you can lock it so it won't ge below want you want. So it will be darker or have more iso instead.
Also don't use balanced quality apple set as standard in setting, it lowers the quality.
on paper-sure, but every time I went outdoors to film the 14 pro was brighter and easier to see whats going on on the screen

Till date, I was an Android user (Galaxy) and few days ago moved to iOS and got myself an iPhone 15 plus and I am just loving it.
I would go for 15 because of type c charger and much more comfortable than 14 pro
I think if you dont bother with 60hz display 15 would be the best choice
The lack of white balance control just kills me. It's essential in my opinion and I often have ridiculous white balance that's completely off on my iphone 12 pro. It makes so many pictures trash. Great detailed review!

In the DJI MIMO app you have white balance adjust. And i bet on some dedicated video/photo apps you have it as well without the need of a DJI gimbal.

If being out for extended periods is a common scenario for you, the extra battery power could be a game-changer. Given the marginal price difference and your specific needs, it seems like a practical decision. I like the base 15 a lot, havent used the plus to be honest but I'd assume it's just as good just a bit bigger. So go for the Plus and enjoy that worry-free battery life!

If you really think about the tele camera (so Pro models) and also want more battery juice... well, you also said "price is not an issue"..... 15 Pro Max?
Maybe i have to tell you.... in the Apple universe you better are aware of the "Pro" myth... on some products the "Pro" really means professional, but in the case of iPhones, iPads and even with some MacBooks (like the 13" "Pro" with base M1 and 8GB Ram/256GB SSD, "pro"...^^) the term "Pro" is part of their upselling strategy with some features exclusive on "Pro" models (120Hz, 3x/5x tele camera, Always-On-Display,....)
What could also help you... the base 15 is now very close to a "Pro" iPhone since it has the amazing 48MP (quad pixel array, sadly -.-) camera from the Pro models.
I personally switched more or less from the iPhone 12 Mini to the base 15. 12 Mini still my main phone since its just convenient with its size, but the 15 is superior when i need it:
- much longer battery runtime. 5-15 hours SCREEN ON TIME/gaming. 12 Mini with a broken battery (83% health) barely survives a whole day without doing much.
- screen brightness is crazy (its like 600 cd vs 2000 cd or so). When using the iPhone 15 too much, im absolutely dissapointed by the 12 Mini brightness, cranking it up to max and then wondering why the battery drains like hell.
- screen size... when doing stuff on it, gaming, watching stuff etc, the "big" base 15 is just a charme, where the 12 Mini feels too small
Im wondering, are you talking about 15 Plus vs 15 Pro (non max)? All i can tell you... even the "small" 15 is lasting very long, 15 Pro not so much. The 15 Plus and 15 Pro Max are the ones with the most juice.

I got the regular 15 in 256GB (to match the 256GB iPad Air M1) and im super happy about it. Works like a charme, bright screen, amazing battery runtime and 256GB are plenty of storage
Portrait Mode quality increased heavily compared to my 12 Mini which im still using... iPhone 15 is mainly the secondary, "camera" and gaming phone or monitor for my mirrorless camera.
The thing with any modern iPhone since iPhone 14.... there is no compace one anymore. I really appreciate sometimes the iPhone 15 screen size, but what i still like more is the compact 12 Mini with noticeable less protruding cameras, just more convenient especially for one hand usage.
How's the battery life?how many hours does goes from 100%to1% and how much time does it take to charge with 20w charger?

I have now only a hardcore usage as examples (Pokemon Go active and in background running autocatch), but typically anything around 5-10 hours display on time including like 10 hours PoGo in the background, depending on processor load/tasks and screen brightness.
Charging takes about 30-40 minutes on a cold surface (such as i charge it often, with the backside lying flat on the aluminium MacBook Pro) from lets say 0-10% to 80%.
When you dont cool it properly during charging, you can expect longer charging times tho!
I cant really say how long charging takes to 100% since i use exclusively the 80% charge limit in the settings and in this setting the few times (about 2x per month) it charges to 100% it takes ridicilous long since its "calibrating".
Realistically its pretty amazing, at least the base iPhone 15

upgraded from 12 Mini to 15. Now im back at the 12 Mini, 15 too big for most usecases.
I wish Apple gives an camera update on the 14 series cause it makes no sense to lack behind from the basic 15 models they are using exactly the same hardware the is no excuse from apple other than forcing you to upgrade!
officially they even said the 14 Pro models get the same new portrait mode, interesting that its still worse with the new and same iOS version. Probably in the future? But i would also guess as well basic apple anti consumer behaviour to force them to upgrade early on.

What I think is even though everything is same in both phone why 15 is taking better pictures than 14pro is bec with time they slowly degrade the older phone with software updates and that’s the worst thing they can do..when your phone is capable of taking better photos and videos but you still can’t and consumers pay for their phones..possibly they do this so their sales of newer models can b good
