S24 Ultra doesn't have a true macro mode

I am a professional tattoo artist and just got the S24 Ultra. I will mainly be taking pictures and video of my tattoo work often using a CPL with polarized lighting to eliminate glare. What settings/mode do you suggest I use?

I have Xiaomi 14 and i love the camera. The lack of HDR, to me, is a plus because it makes photos look natural. Every time you see an HDR photo, you can tell instantly because of how flat and bland it looks. Xiaomi photos have character and depth to them

S24 ultra is full option smartphone including s pen, wireless charging, and somany other media features packed with high end camera, processor & display to kill full competition with roots. Also resale value, repair, accessories availability etc are better. If need compare Xiaomi features, even Vivo X100 are slightly defferent but 35% economic at same or better quality

What is the name of the case you have on the S24 Ultra?

I used to have the Samsung a30 before switching to the iPhone 14 and I loved the selfie camera on the Samsung. I'm convinced Samsung just has a better selfie camera

I'm a Samsung user but definitely Xiaomi won.

Ive had for a very long time samsung phones, even s23 ultra.. if u never had a iphone, u should try it.. i have the iphone 15 pro max and i must say the camera has really that iphone magic. On samsung my selfies where poop in my opinion and on apple its awesome! Its my first iphone and im loving it! And u feel highclass😂 Peace✌🏻

Great vid. Thanks for this comparison. I am leaning towards the 14 ultra, but have bad experiences with software stability on Xiaomi phones (which I never experienced before with either Samsung nor OnePlus). Though I think the 14 Ultra camera would be better in my personal case (I would however not use the camera add-on), I am afraid I would not be able to get used to certain software issues or instabilities, especially when it comes to connecting to Google Car etc. I did read some stories that the 14 ultra comes with pretty much no bloatware and also no weird forced software, but still...I got a Redmi Note 11 (early 2023) as a reserve phone, but the experience with this phone has been aweful. Hence my hesitation on getting the 14 ultra. I feel that with the Samsung I would make a safer choice, but give up a bit on camera performance. I did however read that Samsung usually comes with updates that could/should improve things based on feedback? Any thoughts on that? Could you perhaps explain the following. I always use Lightroom post processing and will do the same with the phone photographs (the ones I will use for non-standard use). If I had to chose 1 of these two phones based on post processing quality, should I then definitely go for the 14 Ultra as this one has a 1" main sensor? Or would result be pretty much the same since I am the one doing the final processing....which would probably steer me towards the Samsung to be on the safe side?
