roberto need you to help me with the model covertor radiator , I have a 528i 99 and see that I have the same radiator you .. I hope for your help and thanks for the video just solve a problem !!
Thanks! I've managed to disconnect both ends of the CPS wire, however the wire itself is maintained in place with a clip firmly attached to the engine. Did you come across this clip holding the wire in place? If so any advice how to disconnect it. Obviously an old wire can be sliced and pulled out from the clip. I am leaving this option as last resource, as I would like install the new new wire through the same clip.
Well... the 2 connectors (for camshaft and crankshaft-sensor) are sitting in a metal frame, mounted to the engine. These can be shifted sideways (to the right, when standing in front of the car) out of the frame. That should give you just a little more space to fumble with the cables. The connectors themselves have indeed this metal clip that you need to push. I think I managed it by pushing the clip with one hand (blind), and somehow pull the cable at the same time...
Great job. Excellent DIY video! What diagnostic tester (cable, soft....) did you use and what do you recommend now? Thanks
and the rest ??
