    This product is one of my best investments ever. It was intimidating so I put it off for a few years sadly. When I finally broke down and just ordered it I was pleasantly surprised by how simple it is, a child can operate this wonderful machine. The stuff it filters out is the most disgusting stuff I’ve ever put in my body, I’ve had it for almost a year now and my family loves it. We call it God water.

    Hi folks, turn the On switch On "after" the boiler tank is filled up and installed in the chamber where the electrical connector is. We are in our 21st year of drinking Pure Water from Pure Water. Thanks.

      @@texanboiii562 Yes. The biggest secret is to keep it clean. Do not let the heating element and boiling chamber get encrusted with minerals. Service it regularly. Change the after filter every three months. Just like my cars, maintain them.

      @@ArtOfHealth i read that its best too not let tank turn off on its own as it bakes in the minerals so they suggest a timer to shut off before unit shuts off onits ow, What is your opinion?

      @@islandboy9580 Its going to bake on anyway as the heating element gets HOT and like a water heater- the minerals attach to everything touched by the water. I have such hard water here that Ive had to chip the buildup off the element and replace it several times

    I just installed it yesterday, and notice that the post - carbon filter smells weird and makes the water smell a little weird too. I cleaned before I used it and still smells the same, is this normal?
    Also, what do you do to make the water be cooler? Could I put the jar in the fridge?
    Thanks 🙌

      Hello, one of our customer service reps is reaching out to you via e-mail regarding the filter. It is not a normal occurrence. Yes, you can refrigerate the jars of water.

      Could you please let everyone know what you found out about the smell! Because my replacement filter I noticed the same thing, unlike the one that came with the machine! And thank you for letting me know about why mine was over flowing!

    How often does that cute little filter need to be changed?

    • @PureWaterDistillers
      @PureWaterDistillers  Před rokem +4

      The filters will need to be changed every 3-5 months. It depends on the quality of water going into the distiller and personal taste. If your water has a lot of contaminants you may find yourself needing to change more frequently.

    If this is distilled water and noit filtered water, why does a distiller system need a filter?

    • @PureWaterDistillers
      @PureWaterDistillers  Před rokem +3

      The filter (bituminous coal) acts as a final catch for any VOCs that may try to hitch a ride through the distillation cycle. It also acts as a 'taste polisher' adding carbon to the distilled water to bring it closer to a 7 PH level.

    After about 4 months my filter has become clogged up I guess? Because yesterday I noticed a little bit of water under the glass bottle thought maybe it was me but on the cycle today halfway through water was flooding my counter top!

    • @PureWaterDistillers
      @PureWaterDistillers  Před 10 měsíci +1

      The filters will need replaced roughly every 3-6 months. In your case, the first thing I would recommend trying is to rehydrate and massage the filter in some distilled water. This can help restructure the charcoal in the filter and allow the water to flow through it once more.
      As the carbon settles, the finer particulates of the carbon can settle to the bottom of the filter and block the drain holes of the filter tray enough to cause the overflow you are getting.
      We have a video going over the filter preparation here as well: czcams.com/video/Z2mxXckBjZI/video.html&t

      @PureWaterDistillers  Před měsícem

      If there are issues with sealing the lid, it could be the gasket wearing down, the fill stud not holding the crossbar as it should, or the threading on the knob stem wearing down. If you could take a photo of the lid and send it to us at info@pureandsecure.com we can do more effective troubleshooting.

    I use a MistKing mister that requires distilled water. Does the water become 0 ppm with the distiller or do I need an RO/DI?

    • @PureWaterDistillers
      @PureWaterDistillers  Před rokem +2

      The Mini Classic will have a reading of 0-4 without the filter in place and 2-7 with the filter (due to imparting carbon into the water). There is a range due to the grain of the carbon fluctuating during shipment and use and also due to the potential of human error being a manual fill device.
