About IDICBeer 40k - NECRONS and More
My Channel is all about Warhammer 40,000 and is mainly a Necron Channel. This is the only guide for this on CZcams, thank you for showing that tricks! Hope to see more classic painting guides. Maybe full Monolith, there are absolutely zero videos about this model on CZcams

I didn't realise that the blackstone was so green. It still looks very blue some how especially on illuminor but all the highlight paints you've used are very green.
Yeah that's what I love about the colour, it's still green so matches the army well, but it is very different from the other green I have on the weapons etc. so stands out as Blackstone nicely
Watching this now I noticed the colours for blackstone are the chosen colours of the Tsarakura dynasty, lore has them being lead by crypteks so the lore implications of having necrons with such a connection to blackstone is interesting!

because my vehicles already have green armor.

Holy jeebus this was such an oddly mesmerizing video (on account of the super subtle blending) This is the best Necron paint tutorial on CZcams.

I just love how easy drybushing is and how gradually you can get a fade, my necron vehicles have that dark greenish glow just by drybrushing
Yeah it's a great technique
I've had a DnD boss mini i had to paint it was a demon with nice big wings like a bloodthirster so i drybrushed that with several reds result my friends think i've spent alot of time in getting the colours like that. Reality maybe 4 hours at the max 😂😂 i'm such a lazy painter

@@IDICBeer couldn't wait;) I did these steps for the convergence of dominion stone: basecoat with fenrisian grey, wash with coelia greenshade, thorough dry brush with fenrisian grey (only on the exterior/ visible panels) and edge dry brush with blue horror (optional light dry brush with a white of your choice).

If I wanted a blue tone to it instead of green what paint would u recommend I use ?
Personally, I would go Kantor Blue with a blue/black wash, then Magragge Blue and then Lothern Blue
