Since the end of 9th when the Canoptek Court was given rules in White Dwarf. I had an idea of how I wanted to run it. Spent a good time into 10th tracking down used Canoptek Tomb Sentinels for my list. Just for them to get axed. They never got to see tournament play like I wanted. Sad that GW had to axe them from our selectable units. Now I don't really see Canoptek Court worth running. For me they killed the one detachment I really wanted to play and I don't get to play often.

I think the way GW updates rules and whatnot makes it very hard to play "seriously". I tend to play games that are less accurate and based more around having fun (rather than playing the game 'by the book' and making sure every rule and measurement is spot on). measuring loosely , or with 'close enough' measurements, forgetting some rules or ignoring others - like pivot - just to make things faster and less complicated. It's too hard to keep up with all the rules tweaks when I only play once or twice a month at most. it seems like the game changes constantly with nearly every game and I can't keep up. Most of the rules changes are for people playing in a tournament anyways -they are meant to make the game super-specific. playing just for a fun game, you don't need to be super specific.

I appreciate other perspectives, but I wholeheartedly disagree. Above painting and playing, the best part of 40k for me is list building. And when the points are stagnant, its boring. You can only build so many things with the same building blocks. I also just don't understand playing the same list for 3+ months. Unless prepping for a tournament, I play every game with a completely different list. I have a collection of models, and I want to use all of them. Not the same ones all the time.

It is a pain.

Great list Nick! I get what GW is trying to do with restricting non battle line units to 3 a piece, however it does seem to limit really cool army builds. There is a natural trade off by having lots of one particular units.

I'd say AL is made specifically for Scorps. Anything else (Ohphis) is just happenstance. Glad you are representing tho. Agree with the frequent changes as I don't get to play very often. I wouldn't mind seeing a video about how you (or thoughts on) get the charge with Scorps. The charge/counter charge play is something I find odd and it seems like a big risk to get charged and wiped out before I can attack.

I'm in the US but there are standard size washers you can glue in the absolutely dont extend beyond the bottom of the base. All my minis are done this way. Washers are so much better. They are less expensive and they add weight which make the minis more stable and solid.

I use metal washers with magnetic sheets. I like the weight that the washers add to the minis. I had to use the 60 mil sheets to get really good connection. Here in the US we have JoAnn Fabrics which has storage containers very similar but much cheaper. No fancy colors but stackable and very secure. Weighted minis don't tip or scooch nearly as easily.

well neat stuff and yes if did say a thing you never know all but the zapy COLORS FROm and you proly put in your volt and bet a GW guy will have hard time to me i uesed color shift paints me i got some great color shif pens that cost bit more think USD $5 but do a good job BUT DARN it do not know the brand but do come in last 8 colors but thats me when get out i get more and tell the name but in al yes the dry bushing look gret and is good fore the minis see the nest vid PS this just a think why not polish the guy in the midel of the zappy stuff just a think
