You pronounce "Linatex" like "line" or "lining". It's a contraction of "lining" and "latex". My father was the process manager at the factory at Batu Caves, Malaysia somewhere last century.

Was sent a gift sheet of this rubber to try out from Linatex in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Have use it at different lengths and widths for target shooting only. It will do me just fine for target shooting using 1/4 inch ball bearings or the same size lead fishing sinkers.

You bet! I would suggest the 15-22mm taper and remember that they stretch more than average, so don't be afraid to tie them in quite short for average draw length. However, if you expect them to shoot 1/2" steel faster than quality latex, you may be let down. Longevity is the strength of this material.
I would like to see a proper chrono spread sheet through various lengths, loops, tapers and widths. It's been out a year do you have any data sheets available?
They would be excellent for give away slingshots or slingshots that get stored away in harsh environments like cars and tackle boxes.

Nathan, would you say they perform similar to 107s, but easier draw weight?
Mr. Masters, Will Linatex have a similar Active Band Length ratio as Latex and Theraband Gold (i.e., 6:1)? Or will the Active Band Length be shorter like 8:1? So for a 30 inch draw length, what would you recommend the Active Band Length be when using Linatex bands? 6.5 inches or should it be 4.25 inches? (shooting 1/2 inch steel). Thanks.
Sounds like it could be a really good option for give-away slingshots that may need long life bands.
say you get 200 shots from gold thera band and maximum stretch..... how many shots we get from this pretty red stuff 500 shots at maximum stretch??? thanks
