    one note on pencil charging with old version ipads: there's adapter that came along (at least with ipad pro version, but this is really just piece of plastic, and even apple probably charge for this too much, lol), which allows you to charge from main ac charger. i rarely charge pencil from ipad itself.
    if you're on budget, and need ipad realy for sketching etc, jus get second hand older 12.9 version, still runs everything without any problem (i just try 3d sketching with new updated procreate app etc).

      Hey Angie, as an interior design graduate I know that most professors have preference for paper and pencil for ideation sketches as well as anything related to the preliminary design phase. They do this to make sure you’re comfortable sketching ideation for clients. I went through 4 years of schooling without an iPad and would recommend that you spend money on a good pc or windows based laptop for the software that are capable of doing high renders.

      Hi Hani, that really depends on how you use it! Personally I have 128gb (only 50% full) and find it more than enough for my own needs.

    Is the base 128gb storage on the iPad Pro sufficient ?

      That depends. I got the 256 in case. You can always plug in an external SSD or memory card. I don't think I am every going to run out 256 for my needs.

    *I'm an incoming architecture student next year, sir. Just want to know if an iPad Pro M1 12.9 can replace a gaming laptop for Autocad, or any apps that are need to use in architectural school?* 😅

      @HenryGao  Před 2 lety +4

      Short answer is NO. iPad will not replaced your needs for an actual computer. You will need a real computer for architecture school. If you are into digital drawing, then consider buying an iPad to supplement your studies. Good luck in school!

    All we wanted was MactouchOS to iPad Pro not an accessory to MacBook with universal control, tablets is the future not laptops. We good if you got iPad Pro 2018 because M1 Pro superman with kryptonite belt.,

      I am not sure how useful the new iPad mini will be for architects given screen size.

    Heading is - Which ipad to buy for Architects ? . Saw the full video. No Answer to it ☹️. Only said about camera wide angle and ended the video. ☹️

      Ramesh - you are witty enough to point this out. I guess this is my long way of suggesting my audience to make that decision themselves. Sorry it baited you in to watching the entire video. Best,

      @@HenryGao Bro, Please dont use words "sorry". Your video was good 👍 👌 , but only thing is i didnt get it after watching full video. Actually i am new to ipad and i purchased a new Ipad pro M1. I am searcing for how to use AR in ipad as i have purchased a new house and wanted things to be setup in my new house. Unfortunately, i didnt find a single video in YT which says clearly how to use it in ipad pro for beginners. Feels very frustrating and hence my comment in frustration. Apologises if you felt bad . I was actually frustrated searching for AR in CZcams since morning.

      @@RameshKumar-ng3nf Thanks for the explanation, I don’t feel so bad now. I don’t think the the AR technology for architecture is that mature yet, maybe someone else will do a comprehensive video on that someday…could be you!

Right now i am enjoying my new ipad pro M1, its feels nice fun to work with Ipad compared to a laptop😊. Have a good day !
