    Good stuff Henry! My iPad Pro has been sitting in my closet...you inspired me to take it out again to do some notes...and maybe I'll get that screen protector too!

    Inspired by you I have started using my iPad 5th gen for drawings and note taking. I can believe how much fun I’m having with morpholio trace. I am an architect and have been doing just cad and Revit for years. Thank you for your videos. I am upgrading my iPad to either the iPad Air or mini but already have my Apple Pencil ready. I will be getting paper feel and the sleeves.
    I know you use procreate a ton but I like that I can draw to scale on trace. Thank you again

    Hi Henry,
    You videos are great as is your art. Thanks. I noted around 9:30 on your video, when talking about the cons of Sketchboard that we should by a new one if we upgrade our iPad, but in fact they sell an upgrade kit, the element in the center, that costs around $40 and we use the ancient outer part. Your video made me decide to buy it, thanks a lot.

    • @HenryGao

      Thanks for pointing that out! Now i am less afraid to upgrade.

    I bought a sleeve for my apple pencil too for the same fear to drop and get broke, I have the 1st gen and when I first touch it it feel really slippery, was a gift and I know is really expensive so I want to take care of it. Maybe in the future I will buy t the Elago one too cuz is really cute

    Hello Henry, good day.
    I did buy paperlike for my ipad before, it was such a waste of money though. I used for less than a year, and the screen scratched like I have used my ipad whole year long. I didnt used my ipad that much before. I feel like a cheaper screen protector is more useful for me

    • @HenryGao
      @HenryGao  Před 2 lety

      Hey Mochtar, thanks for sharing your thoughts! Wow, so far I’ve gotten more negative opinions about Paperlike than positive. It’s crazy that’s it’s marketed to be the best screen protector for artists and designer. I have to try it one day and give my own assessment.

    So keen to get the sketchboard because my back kills everytime I have an assignment due but it ends up being $250 dollars for me after shipping and conversion. Was wondering if you've heard of any cheaper alternatives?

    Heyy! Firstly i wanted to say I love your videos so much! They inspire me a lot! :) So, I decided to get a screen protector too but I really can't find any suitable for an 9th gen ipad out there. Why is that? I could'nt even find a paperlike one....

    Any advice for what case is smart to use, if the sketchboard pro is used often? I assume ideally I would have a protective case that the ipad pro can slip in and out of somewhat easily, so that I can slip it into the sketchboard pro when I want.

    • @HenryGao
      @HenryGao  Před 2 lety +1

      Excellent question. I have this: easy to take on and off but doesn’t provide drop protection.

    I'm no an architect but I would like what is the best option to start laptop or tablet or both are necessary,my concern it's if a can start learning a program like sketchup to bring my clients more visually on their projects like furniture an small stuff i hope someone can help me please

    • @HenryGao
      @HenryGao  Před 2 lety

      Given what you are saying, it sounds like you still need a laptop. iPad will not do what you need with sketchup.

    Hi, I just bought elago after watching this video, it's nice and fit to draw. But the main issue is after I turn off my ipad and want to connect it to my ipad, I can't. Is there a solution for this without having to take off the case. Or am I the only one having this issue. Thanks

    • @HenryGao
      @HenryGao  Před 2 lety

      This is atypical and not related to the sleeve.

    • @HenryGao

      @@HenryGao I used to own the 10” iPad and had the cheaper film installed on that one. When I upgraded to the 12” iPad I thought I’d treat myself to Paperlike but was disappointed to find out there isn’t an appreciable difference. Also, it could just be me but it seems that the Paperlike feel has also diminished with age. Strange. It feels smoother now than on the day I installed it.
