    Hi David, just curios what kind of screen protector do you have on your tablet? paperlike? Just curious, if your using a similar media like a matt finish, how does it affect your viewing of actual media on the tablet?

    • @DavidDrazil
      @DavidDrazil  Před 2 lety

      Hi William, yes I do use Paperlike. The truth is, as the protector has textured surface, it reduces the sharpness of the screen a tiny bit. And I mean it, very little so the difference is barely noticable. On the flip side, it also significantly reduces glare and undesired screen reflections.
      If you use your ipad mainly for note-taking and drawing, then Paperlike is still a no-brainer. If you use it only for watching movies or gaming, then you probably don't need it.

    • @user-xc4eh4kp9n
      @user-xc4eh4kp9n Před 2 lety +1

      David, just to confirm, if you remove the paperlike screen protector, there will be no scratches on the actual screen? I only ask because I'm a first time user and this is not a glass protector..i.e. more like a film.

    • @DavidDrazil
      @DavidDrazil  Před 2 lety

      @@user-xc4eh4kp9n correct! The paperlike screen protector might get scratches from the use over time and that's why you also receive 2 pieces of it in the package, so you can remove the first one and put there the second one. But of course, the scratches are only on the protector itself, not the screen. I believe you can learn more details here: paperlike.com/sketch

    Why do some of the lines come out wavy? Is this communication error between the app and digitizer or did you just choose to throw down a rough/wavy line? You can choose to have a straight diagonal line correct? Really liking what I am seeing with this app save for this issue. I have seen it on other videos as well.

    • @DavidDrazil
      @DavidDrazil  Před 4 lety +2

      Hi Gary,
      Thanks for the question - the line squiggle or waviness is intentional and on purpose. It adds imperfection to the sketch and makes it look more 'sketchy' and human (as opposed to straight CAD lines). But of course, you can draw absolutely straight lines in any direction in this app as well.

      I usually draw in AutoCAD and SketchUp, and I always use size in every line I draw, and also attach a description of the size to my drawing, I don't know if we draw in Morfolio, the perspective results will be the same when we put it in a working drawing.

      Hi Erika, I'm not the best person to answer technical specs of iPads but I have an old iPad 2018 with the Apple pencil 1st gen and it works just fine. What template are you using ? I tried paper size Letter 8.5x11in but got very pixelated lines. I would appreciate some advice regarding screen resolution.

    • @DavidDrazil
      @DavidDrazil  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Jose,
      Usually I'm using A3 format. But the thing with pixelation needs a work-around. Every layer that you create has always the same resolution. So if you want to draw details when you're zoomed in, it's better to create a new layer for that. That your whole drawing stays crisp.
