@@hrokkall I think you mean PVE, and I doubt they'll actually do that. But as it will be a free game, yes, there will likely be microtransactions. I've said it once and I'll say it again, I have no issue with in-game paid cosmetics that don't affect gameplay if its a fun game that deserves to survive.

In my opinion, this game looks surprisingly good, like, better than I expected by a lot, but I still have my doubts because live service games have a very mixed track record, to say the least. Hopefully, the game comes out balanced, mostly bug free, and without predatory monetization.
Marvel Rivals can do some insane cosmetics by collating skins with the Classics and Movie Versions.

watched this trailer twice, and BOTH times i've came to the conclusion of "its a overwatch reskin"
1. Overwatch is first person not 3rd person.
2. OW doesn’t have the same type of character power synergy mechanic built in.
3. The heroes and powers displayed are actually pretty unique from Overwatch in a lot of ways
Groot, Doctor strange, iron man, namor, Luna snow, and spider man all display power sets that don’t match up with and OW characters.
4. OW doesn’t have destructible environments to the extent shown.
So based on this small glimpse, the game does seem to be a unique spin on a hero shooter, and distinct from OW in many ways.
I am excited for this kind of game. Hopefully it goes well
Looks very "OVERWATCH" when it should be "Mortal Kombat".
It would make sense that Magik is a counter to Strange, Or atlesst have interesting interaction since shes one of the best candidate to take Strange's Mantel.
I think Luna was introduced in marvel future fight in 2018 before her comic debut in 2019

This game looks like a combination of Overwatch and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but for Marvel.
Rocket IS fire but where is Ghost rider
Not Overwatch, but Smite and Paladins
I thought it would be more similar to smite as well, but it doesn't seem to have the same strategy. There doesn't seem to be towers, minions, or items to create a build during the game.
