My guess is that it's both "not realistic" and they feel they can make it look better, they fail pretty much every time
as an artist, this is true. HOWEVER, i’m normally too lazy to make a full ass design, just the basic framework (but if i could i would)
It ain't even us artists it's just the bum ass developer artists
I feel like every designer trying to make a fresh take forgets that Peter is supposed to be sewing these suits himself in his room
To be fair, given the other people he's been around, I feel like this specific version of Spider-Man doesn't use basic cloth materials to make his suits anymore, since he can get people like Tony to make suit for him
i dont think so with this version. Doesn't excuse the overdesign, but i feel like this version of peter would use a more advanced suit.
Sometimes people need to accept that some versions of Peter are more well off than others. One might be struggling financially, while another has the resources to completely upgrade his suit.

I think the National rocket bomb joke is also originally from that mobile game (it’s also in the first mission in Spider-Man ps4)
I’m noticing a pattern with the promotional material that Marvel is trying to hide as much of the Spider-Man sleeves as possible. Which just makes me worry that they’re going to look horrible when I have a full 360 view of the character.
This suit looks like if you took Ben Riley’s Spider-Man suit and just slapped the worst spider-man/superhero costume design tropes from the last 10 years on it

Honestly, I think it's really cool. People just hate on new Spider Man designs way too much.

Hot take here, but I actually kinda like that his boots are a little chunkier than usual. It makes them look like actual boots and not like a pair of thin socks. Makes the costume feel more serious.
Not a big fan of the back, though. It's too blank.
I personally would have changed the backlogos color red even tho there is a red area in the back it will give it a TASM spiderman feel to it it would be so much better
in the finale if invincible season 2 josh keaton plays a role called agent spider whish is basically recolored spiderman whats your thoughts on that scene and his design over all

Like you said, the black blends in so much, that I also couldn't tell there was a back logo. And not only would the light blue stand out more, but it'd kinda be a reference to his first appearance suit, which also had a blue back logo.
Granted, it was a darker blue on a black back area, but still.
Heck, maybe even just giving it an outline or something would've made it look like it actually exists
You don't know what blending in means,black stands out more for simple fact it is not the same color
@@willysilva4831 Both the blue and black are dark colors so they blend in naturally. Just change the saturation and you would straight up not be able to see the symbol.

Luna Snow has been a personal favorite of mine for a while when I unlocked her in Future Fight
It looks like if marvel were to make their own version of the first Spider-Man suit from TASM. It looks interesting in my opinion and hopefully the other suits they come up with or add from other Spider-Man suits throughout the year

Coping a style doesn't mean that you can't make it look good I feel that the suit would work if it had more equal color the black seems small on the suit honestly
I think the suit is awesome. I love how reminiscent it is of the TASM 1 suit. Definitely has more details than necessary, but it's things like the lenses, the web pattern, the logo, and the soles (THEY LOOK COOL AS HELL, COME ON) that really save it for me.

I'm a sucker for big and sharp spiders, and I really love the colors and lenses on this one so I kinda fuck with it. The biggest problem in my eyes is that his back is SUPER blue, he looks like an amorphous blob with a red head and you're seeing his back for 90% of the gameplay.
Also I love your shorter unscriptes videos, they're fun and I just like to hear how you feel about certain subjects
I do actually love the design. The complicated design works with the messy and more out there style of the game.

I like it, it is an out there take on the suit and it does look better in the artwork as opposed to the in game 3D model. But it’s got it’s own merit to it.

I Understand that you have some complaints on the suit but weirdly enough I really really love the suit, it is a “UNIQUE” look but I like the ambition and personally love the “boots”. I feel like most of the ways they can fix the suit is simply lessening the bulk on the boots (INCREDIBLE BULK GRAHHH) And then the back symbol could LITERALLY JUST BE A UP IN SATURATION.

I think that it's probably more like some kind of armor like Zero point Spider-man from Fortnite, so its complexity is kinda makes sense
This reminds me a lot of the Arachnid Rider suit from Spider-Man PS4, but they took all the wrong lessons from that suit to make this one with all its complicated almost armor like design

Me personally I like the suit for what it’s going for. It’s more tactical and feels like an upgrade to the Fortnite Spider-Man zero suit, which wasn’t an all too bad suit for what it was going for either.
Well considering the fact that there will definitely be more skins in this game I’m sure better suits will show up and I kinda wanna see what they do with the Black Suit

I think rivals couldve gone pretty fucking hard if it was on battleworld based on the old secret wars comic line.
I think the design for spider-man in there looks cool except for how much blue is on the back.
It's kind of weird that nowadays almost every appearance of Spider-Man in outside media (movies, games, shows, ect) try to break the mold with their suit designs when the normal Spider-Man design is already rock solid. Why not just use the alternate costumes/buyable cosmetics (because lets be real, those will be in this game) to be more creative/wacky since you wouldn't really be held back by them being the "default" costume.
I bet this spiderman have a hard time climbing walls with those shoes 😭
A part of me feels like they do this just to get you to spend money on the inevitable classic costume dlcs

Yeah I didn’t didn’t like Midnight suns because of the gameplay but I enjoyed Josh as Iron Man and Spider-Man was voiced by Yuri so this game will be the second time Yuri and Josh will both play characters on the same team. Third if you count the Spider-Man 2018 game where Josh voiced Electro.

The suit should look overdesign like everything else in the game. I won't look at it from a normal perspective. It fits the aesthetic.

I honestly really like this design. Yea it’s not smth big daddy Parker would be able to make but does that always have to be the case? The emblem is pretty clean and the way they implemented black into his suit is fine with me. I legit love the lenses, the slight curve around his nose is the cherry on top for me. This FEELS like an appropriate suit for Peter to fight in a blitz like this.

They should just never design a new/updated spidey suit. They all should just be the classic suit until the end of time. And make all of his different variations just wear the classic suit too. They can just have different lenses and logos to tell them apart, they all have to have the beetle logo on the back though🤓

Tbh i think Spidermans design is fine. To me it looks sort of like a mix of Andrews suit and the advanced suit from the games
