Lovely to see high level athletes play sparring with light touches at each other,great example for others,keep it up good work Jeff.
Interesting thing about sparring is that usually the higher level you are, the less ego you have when sparring, because you know it's just training.
No need to fight like there's a fuckin' belt on the line, like some newbies do, and that's fine if both parties agree, but I just see CTE training by low skilled people who don't even intend to compete.
thanks man! yeah usually the more skilled they are, the more controlled they are and the less ego. hard sparring usually happens with lower level guys who just started competing

Crazy kicks from both of those guys! Madge has a very high ring IQ. The way he was adjusting on the fly was nuts, especially considering how he was so relaxed while he was doing it.

I really liked Don's left elbow flare. He is a titan but still has a nice circular linear balance which nice to see. Little Giant is a fireball! Nice seeing a flyweight with such impressive functional upper body muscle development. Love seeing the smiles.

Looks like so much fun! It's ironic how real fighters can flow/touch spar and be technical, whereas traditionalists claim to spar controlled but spaz out and go hard, especially with hands 😂 I also had to spar a southpaw who had an injured forearm in my last fight camp, so I did my best to only use my lead hand during sparring, there's no need to risk injury while training. Thanks for sharing! 🙂

I have a question related to new combos. I watched some of your videos and I started thinking how do you apply them especially when they are new for you? Do you plan for example for 1 month to try it as many times as possible? Or for example you have 3 combos which you train constantly for longer time? How does it look like in your case?
I will go into sparring specifically trying to land a combo. Sometimes I really like the combo and keep using it and sometimes I decide its not for me
