Lol. This camera sucks. Atleast for me it does. I'm glad I managed to get it to work but I'm sticking it straight on eBay.

Forget video. This trusty little camera can take excellent shots with only 8mp. It's actually my favourite camera.

@@HamedAdefuwa I could advise you. With this particular type of bridge camera, just ignore all modes except AUTO as they aren't like on a DSLR. I was astounded at the quality of shots I got. So much so that I rarely use my 'better' cameras and about 95% of my Instagram pictures are taken with a humble S5800. Check it out: @martinenglishtutor 🙂👍

We've picked up a second hand one for my son. It's working really well... for your dark shots (without flash) you should boost the ISO if you can't slow the shutter or open aperture.

I had a feeling it was something I was doing wrong lol I genuinely don't know anything about photography :) I'm glad its serving your son well. I sold mine on ebay for £15 I believe.

youre using it wrong i think. its blurry because you didnt hold the button first before taking a pic.

With respect I don't think you should be making videos about camera if you think this is a poor model. You started by saying you didn't expect much because it was old ! And didn't prepare by reading up about it before making a video as you said you just did a quick Google search.

You should do some research before you shame an older camera. Of course its not going to have good video, it was announced in 2007.
I have 2 of these, and I adore it, because it has character.
