The ISF used price here in the USA ranging from $20k-$32k USD for an 08 with 120k-200k miles.
I skip the ISF and went straight to its bigger uncle GSF. Love the 2UR-GSE sing the song past 3800 rpm.

Just subbed, I can't believe how many parallels there are between your story and mine. I got mine for $18,600 NZD albeit that it had 185,000km when I bought it in February this year. I bought mine from Nelson and drove it back to Wellington. I had the same dilemma about whether to get an ISF or something german, ultimately I value reliability and the peace of mind knowing that ISF's are basically bulletproof. There aren't many performance cars out there with 420hp that can easily go over 500,000km with basic maintenance. (Also used to live in Nelson for about 20 years so recognise all these roads haha)
That is just unreal! Was this a black one for sale?? I remember looking at that one since it’s very very close to where I live. I bought mine with 165,000 in January. 18:10 this is the exact reason why they are the perfect daily's, if you below 3000rpms its refined and easy to drive while still being comfortable, but once you take it past the 6K rpms the torque converter locks up and makes the shifts snappy and quick while also sounding amazing at redline

I live in Sacramento California, and have a 13 IS F and ultrasonic blue. I have Swift springs on the car with Hayward and Scott exhaust. I do get a lot of looks in the car, especially the blue color, but mostly from other Lexus owners. They seem to be perplexed because they think it’s just a regular IS at times.
I get looks, but that’s only because mine is loud! You can’t miss it hahaha. Awesome car mate! How do the Swift springs perform? We’re considering those for mine

i was in the exact same situation as you deciding which car i wanted to get, fell in love with the ISF and bought one. 2 years later i sold it for the same as i bought it for because i was planning on studying. Now i really regret selling it and want it back. But looking to save up for an RC F now instead 😄
Man I want an RCF in the future too! Almost everyone I’ve ever heard sell their ISF, end up regretting it, I find that super interesting.
@@EnjinTale yea bro, if you ever get the feeling that you wanna sell it, don't. There's no better car than this in the same segment or price and reliability. And I've owned AMG, and bmws too. The only bad part is the lack of aftermarket parts to mod them with, and the ones that exist are super expensive.

Thank you so much! It’s a Uniden DFR7NZ, specifically an NZ version. Got it for $598 NZD. Does give a few false alerts, but it has a built in gps, which means it has a “Mute Memory” feature so you can mute any consistent false alerts and they won’t bother you. Works great!

I average 6-7km/L. Not too bad at all considering how I drive. Average roughly 11km/L on a long run which is crazy

As per description, it’s an X-Force Catback with straight pipes in place of the mufflers.
@@EnjinTale thank you. I have the X force but it sounds muddy. Didn’t realize straight pipe would open so much sound. How’s the drone. I get quite a bit under 2k
@@qylerecallmeq675 The mufflers on the Catback are surprisingly restrictive. It becomes quite loud without mufflers, but actually still bearable in my opinion. Only problem I have with drone, is going uphill in 8th gear, I usually just kick it down a gear or two and it eliminates the drone since it sits at 2.5-3k rpm. Depends how much drone you can handle. I daily drive mine and it’s honestly fine.

@@lunara9158 As for power mods I have PPE catless headers, JoeZ catback, RR Racing 93 octane tune with a bump to the rev limiter to 7200 rpm, HPS elbow with K&N filter and 1 step cooler NGK plugs.
