Matthijs Consistent sales probably took a few months. It just starts with one good sticker that resonates with people.
I get that 😅 I have only made one sale and I'm losing a bit of hope but hopefully we all succeed soon!

Just found your channel yesterday and wow I love your designs and your videos! Very authentic, entertaining, and helpful, too! The process of creating the water bottle sticker kind of blew me away haha, it is interesting though how some designs get created not in a very straightforward way with you thinking of the journey as much as of the goal. You have sold designs to Dog Moms. How do you manage to sell in a niche that is so crowded with competition?
Would you make a video about it with tips on your approach, keyword research and how to optimize the listings?
oooBoEoNooo It came down to timing, consistency, and luck. The dog and cat mom are a couple of the ones I got lucky with in the past few years. There were other dog stickers at the time, but maybe not as many as there are now. I shared what I know in my advice video pinned in the comments. Unfortunately, I don’t know a huge amount about keyword research and optimization. I do have a link to a tag generator in the description to give you relevant tag ideas that have been used on Redbubble.

Phebe Jualo You’re welcome! Thank you so much for watching! You’ll enable it on Redbubble, and it only shows up on top when the picture is expanded. So the actual design is not affected in print.

So regarding watermarks - do we add these ourselves? and if so how do we remove them when someone makes a purchase? Or do they just buy it with the watermark? Should it be fairly translucent?

Dylan Galvin Thanks Dylan! They are put on the image by Redbubble when it is expanded, and it is just temporary. It isn’t technically on the graphic, so it won’t be on the product when sent.

I have a question(it might sound stupid), but how do you clean up the sides of the stickers so unnecessary space doesn't show?
What editing software do you use? I create a stroke around it in photoshop so any extra dots/lines have a border on them. That way I can see them and erase them.

Theres a couple free ones. Also Dr LaHue has some good insight on CZcams. Sometimes learning about each one until you "feel called out" is best 🤣

How do you outline letters and photos so they aren’t just squares?
Make sure your background is transparent.
How many designs do you have in your store? And how long did it take for you to sell something?
I have a little over 2,000, which is definitely unneeded, and is mostly because of my location coordinate stickers. I think it took a few weeks for my first sale.

Came back to like the video because I forgot. Thank you for showing real stickers, I know it's scary to show your design because they could be stolen but I guess that if people are watching video to make more sale, it's because they'd like to make better design and not just steal them from someone.

You won't earn anything on RedBubble unless you do stupid designs for kids, like Lopez and Tik Tok. I have 150 designs, half of which are awesome, I sold 2 t-shirts and 1 mask, in 2 months. It’s nothing, for some profit that many needs to be sold every day, not in 60 days.

How did they steal your stickers?

You can file infringement reports on Amazon to have those stolen designs removed.
I took care of the small situations and ones where I had spent hours on the design. But when I tried to fight the bulk sets of many artists’ stolen stickers, it was a lot harder, because that set is sold by hundreds of sellers now. The “supplier” grabs designs from online and then sells them to Amazon sellers. I had random men from China threatening to sue me, so it just wasn’t worth it. But yeah, definitely worth a try in most cases!
@@mynameisliana I do t-shirts mostly on Amazon and have had a few designs stolen. I found them on Redbubble, TeeSpring, and a few others. I got them all removed.
People say it's not worth the time, but I think it is. It sucks about the resellers. I'm glad you got some taken down though.
If your designs are making enough money, it could be worth it to file for a copyright. Then Amazon would have to take all of them down or get sued.

Talitha King Haha, I’m so glad you liked it. I try to find a balance between awkward and funny, but still working on that. 😏 Redbubble does it for you! In account settings, you click the “safety/security” tab. I can’t remember exactly what it’s called. And you select the temporary mark they overlay on top of the full image. Making screen captures a lot harder. All merch is sent watermark free though.

I know your RB shop is all stickers, and that's cool, but i think you're missing out. Masks are selling a ton now, and some of your designs would be great on a face mask or other item. you really never know, and you'd make more per sale than a sticker. Also, how does someone so young know about Chaka?

I like your channel. I'm just starting out and gathering my designs ... Looking for tips on where to go from here. Been out of the graphic design field for a decade and stuff has changed a lot since then. Lol
Anyway I appreciate your genuine approach.... It's not like all the other aggressively helpful channels out there.
Pictures sell products, and Redbubble puts images of random things where your specific design looks pathetic. You can’t choose to have design displayed on slim style t-shirt for men. You can only choose a Fitted Scoop for women, or a V-neck for women. You can't choose slim for men, but only classic and some baggy stupid cuts. I wouldn't buy baggy t-shirts, wouldn't take it for free. That's why your perhaps great design will look awful in most cases. You can't turn off baseball shirts. You turn off the design for classic t-shirts for example, and then you connect in 2 days to your profile, and they show your design on the things you turned off.
