Watching you make a sticker makes me feel horrible at my designs. Good job
Don’t feel horrible about it! Get excited because now you have a good tutorial/ guideline! It takes time to design stuff and you’ll definitely get there one day!
Should we do our first live stream next week guys? Just a chat, and your oppourtunity to pick my somewhat limited brain!
- oh, and apologies for the bluriness that comes and goes in this recording, was trying some new video settings....and they failed :/
I didn't think of discounts with sticker packs. And also you could ask your previous customers or new visitors if they would like a personalised design via pvt msg.
Live stream which includes your strategies for T Shirt design, RB tips and your journey on POD platforms... best topics to discuss. Stay blessed 😊👍
You really deserve more subscribers. You’re videos are so well done. I see these people with 100k subscribers who are nowhere near this level. At least you’ve got one more!
What an awesome message - Thank you Sean :)
I subscribed too. 😍
The best and clearest advice!
I love your videos, super helpful, and your artwork is amazing! Keep up the good work!
You really are awesome! Genuine, straightforward value! Keep it up ♥️
This was a fantastic video, straight to the point and filled with great information. Thank you SOOOOOOOOO MUCH
Hey new subscriber from Australia 👋👋👋 I haven’t started selling on on Redbubble but I have my niche picked out and I just want to thank you because while watching your video I had a 💡 moment where an amazing idea for a sticker pack popped into my head that I know isn’t available at least in my niche and even I will end up buying. Thank you for a great inspiring video
Thank you for the tips, love the skull sticker btw, awesome art.
Another helpful video - Thank you !
From all people on CZcams, i love you 😍❤️
Many Pod beginners - myself included - probably make the same mistake all the time: they get into too competitive niches and thus put their design in a bad position from the start. So they don't get any sales because nobody can find the design, are disappointed and give up.
Hence my video suggestion: How do you go about finding new niches - and how do you find niches with little competition? Would you make a video about it?
It's one I have meaning to do for a while, but at the same time I don't know if I'm much of an authority on niches. I'm very willing to give advice directly on my own experience though 👌
@@RoguePixel Your own experience is very welcome :-)
Yes mumsy, your experience is very welcome
Thank you SO much for this video! I have been searching forever trying to figure out if I needed to include the bleed in the sticker design but I see Redbubble does that for you.
My pleasure! 🙌
Appreciate the tips. Thanks!
Thank you so much for this amazing video! It was very helpful with a lot of good advice!
Though I have a question, does dpi matters when making stickers? Should it be always 350 dpi or it can be less (like 144 or 300 dpi)?
Wow! I would like to learn from you. Great video
Wow! Great tutorial! I don't know why CZcams didn't recommend me your videos before.
Thanks for the video. Great job!
Impressive information. Thank you.
Very Useful and nice information provided. Thanks.
very very good presentation helped a lot thank you!
Super awesome. Thx
..that "empy bottomless black pit .." is my eyeball :) Im watching and learning - always. ..Thanks Martine!
🤣😂
thanks for explaining those.
I love this tutorial
Great video, thank you!
damn! crazy detail on the stickers! sheesh :)
Thank you for the video. Do you use always CMYK Colors for stickers in illustrator?
Thank you very much for your video, love your designs! Unfortunately I can't find a solution to one thing. If I save stickers in png format because of the transparency, I can't convert them to CMYK, because png is part of the RGB mode. May I ask how you do it?
This is very inspiring.
Hi, you have a very good design. If i may ask, what are the type of product we should avoid if we deploy gradients? I'm still confused
Can i use canva elements to create sticker packs? placing them beside each other
Hi! I love your videos about redbubble :) I would looooove to see a more in-depth video about what colour mode to use for print... As someone who knows nothing about this, I have no idea if it would be different for stickers than it would for a shirt for example. A video explaining the hows and whys of the different modes, and theyre effect on POD would be very interesting and informative! Thank you so much and keep up the hard work :)
Thank you! I'm definitely planning more tutorials around colour theory in the future. It's an interesting subject and people can easily get things wrong when developing art for screen and print. But for now, just ensure that all your work for print, regardless what it is, is created in the CMYK colour space 👍
@@RoguePixel Thank you so much for your reply! :) Since I saw this video yesterday, everything I've created today has been in CMYK. Thank you for the quick explanation in this video, and I look forward to more colour theory! :)
@RoguePixel Your various design styles look fantastic. A video about these styles would be great :-)
Thank you so much for making this! I love stickers but have always struggled with designing them :')
I have a quick question. Is there that much of a difference in print quality compared with vector and pixel designs?
what should be the creat a design size in canva for making stickers as for making t-shirt designs its 12 by 16 inches , so for stickers what will it be in canva
Hi, thanks for this video. I do have a question regarding sticker packs. I had no idea you could upload sticker packs to Redbubble and I'm definitely interested in doing this but what I'm wondering is how. I saw that you had put three stickers on one sheet and I read that it needs to be a transparent bg. Is this all you have to do? What size should I upload the full sheet at? Also, do you know, is three the limit for sticker packs or can you make 4 or 5?
Thank you,
Alicia
Thank You So So Much
Hi, how do you upload your Sticker sheets - as a separate design? i have just loaded one of the sticker designs to all suitable products and then changed the image to the sticker sheet but what if they want to just have the one sticker for that image? Do I just upload each design and then one design that just has the multi?
Is it better to create in CMYK mode?
How do you make these swatches?
Good stuff. Does adult themed stickers work as well? Or just stick with child friendly / pre school
hi.. Great video! i want to ask that i have uploaded designs on Redbubble site, can i upload same artwork on other Tshirt designs website ?
Is it better to put a single design or multiple designs?
I just made 3 packs at 2800x2800 & they only fit on the small, med & large ones so I had to go back & enlarge them to 4300x4300 to get them to fit on the XL. My Photoshop says that 2800x2800 = 9.3 inches... So either my PS is wonky or RedBubble is.
Which software are you using to make stickers???
Hi I have an issue at the time of exporting my files in png the file fills the hole squad on redbubble and when they add the outline IT is not completed hope you understand me I am from Colombia and dont spank english well thankss
Thank you for your video! I understand your export settings, but what canvas size do you work? I usually mix between photoshop and illustrator and struggle to find optimal document settings.
I go with 2000 x 2000, but export at 300dpi which results in a bigger final resolution. These are perfect settings for me to ensure that my design is optimised for all products 👌
@@RoguePixel Thank you!
Thank you
Which app you use?
Do red bubble do cmyk?
I am using Photopea, and trying to get sizing correct. When I add 2800×2800 and change the DPI to 300, it changes everything. What am I doing wrong?
quick note on checking if the spacing is correct - the preview when in editing mode is NOT the same as when viewing as a published product, if that makes sense? I spent time perfecting the amount of space between stickers, to maximize the amount of stickers I could fit, only to find that on the product page they were all joined!! bloody redbubble... they're the worst for this kind of issue! I mean, have you TRIED centring something on a duffel bag, or using their official template only for it to not match up?? such a pain!
Yes!! I've noticed this too. Looks absolutely fine in edit mode and BOOM, joined when published. It's the most annoying thing ever, and makes what should be quick and simple, into a long drawn out palava 😫
Is that the Normandy? Very nice
what website are you using?
This was so helpful but I'm a UI UX designer who sucks at illustrations.
You beauty thanks heaps!
Can u make a full tutorial on creating a sticker from scratch..illustrator is so daunting.
Your level of designing is incredible... What kind of software are you using?
It looks like Adobe Illustrator
Damn how the heck are you that good
Thanks again but I have questions: what if the sticker is a perfect square? Do I have to put the white border myself before sending to RB? I guess the white border called a stroke I just found out.. is not mandatory given your video
No, you don't add a border. The border comes as a result of the cutting process when the stickers are printed. Of course you can create a square sticker 👍
@@RoguePixel thanks so much . I appreciate your time.
So, when i create sticker packs they don't have to have a transparent background? Just a white one will do the job??
No, they have to be on a transparent background otherwise they won't be individually cut. They'll just be one big sticker 👍
Hello, i want to know that do i have to make my stickers the same size as it says in the website? my stickers are smaller
Of course you can! Just be aware that they may not be available for buyers to purchase in bigger sizes.
Thank you rp
What software do you use for the stickers? Is it illustrator?
Yes :)
What program did you uae to make the let go sticker?
Adobe Illustrator 👌
@@RoguePixel thank you!
Is it still important to make them on CMYK mode or we can just use RGB?
You can use RGB, but the colour space is completely different to CMYK, and it will look alot different once printed.
@@RoguePixel what mode do you use to make the t-shirt designs? I don't know if Redbubble considers this to get the right colours, because as far as I know CMYK is for printing. I'm new to POD on Redbubble and planning to work with Illustrator and Photoshop :)
You're quite right. CMYK is for printing. Anything from t-shirts to newspapers. Not to get too technical, but it's impossible for some colours from the RGB colour space to be replicated by CMYK. Purely because printers have to create all colours from Cyan, Magenta, yellow and Black. Take a look at this article from Redbubble.
help.redbubble.com/hc/en-us/articles/202270679-Dimensions-Format#color
Rule of thumb - any purely digital work in RGB. Anything to be printed - CMYK. Hope that helps!
You look like cool 😎
Can you but arabic translate ander your video ?
you could have done the let go design soo simpler
I have to say that you look like Elyssa Smith from Upper room. Anyway, Thanks for the info.

Lots more illustrator tutorials coming in the future, I promise 🤘
@@RoguePixel THANK YOU
Just hope no one decorates pc cases..
why is this like the only actual helpful redbubble videos for actual artists apart from that other one with the frog art? u look up redbubble tutorial on yt and it's just ppl showing u how to steal images and crop out the background then upload them or use an ai to get free designs.
I downvoted without even seeing your video because it starts with a 5 min ad which I can't skip. Not acceptable
CZcams has a limit of 20 to 30 seconds on an non skippable ad. I don't blame you for leaving if you were made to watch a 5 minute one! Let me know if that was truly the case and I will look into it. Thank you
@@RoguePixel sorry i don't want to be rude.. Actually it was very annoying and I practically switched to another one after refreshing couple of times.. Hope that is just me..
You're not being rude, I totally understand. It can be very frustrating when all you want to do is watch the video! I'll try look into it on my end. Perhaps manually disabling non unskippable ads in the future will help. Take care 👍
@@RoguePixel thanks, appreciate your concern.. I finally watched it and it was great.. 😃 lol.. Thumbs up 👍
@@miscellaneous8409 Ads are a necessary evil for me, I probably hate them as much as you do! I'm glad you got around to watching :)
