    StormRider is about beings strong, resilient, positive, fit and prepared.
    I am passionate about adventure and testing myself - some of my favourite ways to maintain physical strength are kettlebells and carrying heavy stuff long distances, i.e. ‘rucking’ and cycling on Zwift and my Wahoo Kickr. I use products that can put up with harsh environments such as G-Shock watches. I enjoy talking about this variety of topics.
    If any of this is of interest to you please subscribe and let me know if you enjoy similar activities in the comments. Cheers...
    On the StormRider channel I try to give you an indication of how different G-Shocks operate, the best models for different uses, 10 things I wish I knew before buying a G-Shock! As well ex explain what I think are the best value G-Shocks on the market, I.e. what are the Top 10 Casio G-Shocks under $200 you can buy

You see other athletes also use G-Shock such as Tiger Shroff
    I also explain in some videos How to set a G-Shock Watch including many models such as the (5081). How to adjust time on G-Shock watch analogue digital How to set G-Shock hands
    I am interested in the the art or making G-Shock watches

      Thanks man. I was hoping someone would ask for more details so it gives me an excuse to do a video on it. It's seriously good and has kept me fit during the past few months. I'll break it all down in the video. Thanks so much for watching and commenting!

      Many thanks for the kind comment. I had forgotten how much I loved cycling but Zwift had really helped get back into it when unable to go out. Get back in the saddle man, it'll keep you seriously fit and healthy too. Cheers!

    Enjoyed your video. Loved hearing about your new cycling passion. Interested in your Polar Arm HR Monitor as I've always used a chest strap. And very nice bike!

      @stormrider1119  Před 3 lety

      Thanks for the kind words. Yes I highly recommend that arm based Polar HR monitor, basically it removes that slight constriction across the chest which I personally don't like. And honestly the accuracy and reliability seems great connected to both Zwift and the Garmin Edge when outside. It's not particularly expensive either.
      I look forward to more of your Zwift videos, I find them highly informative. Perhaps you can explain why I rode the entirety of Muir and The Mountain last week in a meet up and didn't get the badge?! I was highly frustrated after all that effort haha. I suspect I ended at the meetup start point rather than the course end point but it really was not clear as it indicated I had finished the required distance. Any advice is highly welcome :) Cheers!

    Very interesting video. I am also a bike enthusiast. When I'm home, during summer, there is nothing better than a good, long ride through the countryside. God, I can't wait for June. Stay active friend, stay buff YEAH!

      Yes, lots of people cannot wait to get some proper cycling in when the situation improves. The Zwift option is a good way of keeping in good shape in the meantime though. Thanks so much for the comment as always Tarik. Cheers!

    Now we can buy GBDH 1000 with heart monitor. I wonder if You would like to have one?

    • @stormrider1119
      @stormrider1119  Před 3 lety

      This is a really good question. So I still have not tested one yet. The GBDH does look interesting and it seems they are releasing newer models already so I'm probably going to watch what happens over the next few months as they make software and hardware refinements then get one. The fact they have tough solar hybrid coupled with G-Shock strength and protection is very exciting. I'm a true devotee of the classic G-Shock lines but I'm very open to the new ones as they come along...

      It’s the Rangeman Love The Sea And The Earth GW-9401KJ-3JR. But only the strap and bezel, I modded my blackout Rangeman with the peripherals as a nice little project. So it’s a unique watch. :)

    Great video my friend... used to be really into my mountain biking, but am more into motorcycles... but still have an original Specialized Rock Hopper with fixed frame and forks, and you’re right, you need a tough watch... I’ve noticed again that the bezel screws are missing on your Rangeman, I’ve seen black ones on eBay at around £4 each, which would look great ;)
    Was great to tour your bike and the Garmin setup... can I ask what those hoops are on the gloves? Thinking pens LML ;-P
    Cheers for sharing... big thumbs!

      Thanks for the support as always man. Yes I can tell motorcycles are your thing, a fine passion. I do need to get those screws you're right, or transfer the ones from my blackout bezel. Question is how do I get them out without causing damage? And the tabs on the gloves... Good. Question... Basically these fine Italian gloves fit very snug, almost like a tailored fit so when you've been on a long hot ride and your hands are sweaty and have expanded the gloves can be hard to get off (to consume your well deserved cake and coffee) and thus the tabs are there to help pull the glove off with the opposite hand more easily. It's genuinely makes a practical difference, I can vouch for that. The Italians know why they are doing when it comes to style and design. Cheers!

      @@stormrider1119 So you think removing leather off your hands is fun, try motorcycle leather jeans on a hot summers day... I found that monkey butt powder is good before hand, but makes a mess on the inside :-P
      You can remove the screws very easy on the bezel... need a flat head screw driver, or if your have something that's nylon even better, I found a piece of flat LEGO worked on its side... so you press on the back of the screw and it pops out... you can use a tiny amount of washing up liquid on the screws from the inside to make is easier to press out... then wash and dry the screws and bezel, and press into the holes... then using a flat screw driver turn to suit your OCD rule of straightness :))
      Btw, my leathers are Italian made by Dianese, and they're lovely :))

      @@stormrider1119 I thought you left the screws for a ventilation reason, or that you swap between often so wasn't worth... but have a feeling the green will be the most used, so the screws will give that final touch, and black would look great :)

    I am a student
    I have 6 inch wrist
    Advise me which g shock I should get

    Mud master GWG1000 or GGB100 or gravity master GRB200
    I just want to use the features for fun .

      With a 6 inch wrist I suggest the GWG-1000 would be too bulky, you could consider the GG-B100 but I honestly would recommend the GW-9400 Rangeman. It's a hugely capable and versatile watch and not quite so big. I wear mine all the time at the moment for sport activities. Let me know what you go for. Cheers!
