For anyone wondering the eyeshadow palette is the dior minis for 65$.

You can clearly see that it’s Dior when he starts to put the charlotte tilbury eyeliner on as he has it in his hand lol
Those minis are actually great if you are going for a natural look and not a glam one

For the elf camo concealer, I used to use the 16hr Camo Concealer and I HATED IT. I stopped using elf concealer for a couple years then I just recently started using the hydrating one and it is SO MUCH BETTER. I definitely think you will like it! ❤️
for the milk bronzers, blushes, contours, you’re supposed to twist up the product a bit (with the little transparent lid it comes with on) and once you twisted up some product, THEN you can remove the little transparent lid by TWISTING it off (milk makeup did a video on how to remove it properly on their tiktok account because i’m not really good at explaining this 😂)
i thought that twisting those types of tops was common knowledge but seeing influencers not do it makes me rethink my life choices😭😭
ok but like it shouldnt be that difficult to remove something from the product. like why should there be a video about how to take off the lid to their product like why they gotta be so difficult. poeple just wanna use it

The camo concealer didn't work for me under my eyes as I have dry ageing skin but I have been using it as an eyeshadow primer which isn't too bad my favourite setting spray is the all nighter I recently switched to a nyx one but I wouldn't recommend it

i completely feel you on the elf camo concealer. it was so hard to blend in and after a couple weeks it started to look orange. and i would have to reapply so much🥲
For the Milk Makeup Cream Contour Stick, I saw a video explaining that you have to twist the contour stick in a similar way that you would twist deoderant until the cap reaches the top so that all you have to do is gently remove the cap without it breaking off :)

I just bought the elf concealer like 2 hours ago... and then to say I gasped when it was on your list is a understatement, I hadn't even wore it yet and I was like darn
you know what one thing i can say is that i’ve never disliked james, Though he did some bad things i definitely feel like he grew from that and is a genuine person now with 🔥 humour !!

I do have to say that the Sculpt Tape is INCREDIBLE! Best liquid contour I've used! I hated the Milk bronzer, elf putty bronzer, etc.. I've tried MANY and it's still my fave.
I agree with the elf concealer. Unfortunately I tried the hydrating concealer as well and the same thing happened. I really wanted to love it as well 😢

He's good at makeup so can make most things look good. Also, pretty much any makeup is flattering on camera with studio lights. In person it's always a different story.

James you don’t even know how much i agree with you about the concealer i dislike it very very much because i didn’t cover me circles or blemishes very well so with in about a month of buying that i and to buy a new concealer but your right not everything works on everyone’s skin. love your content btw! ❤

I thought this makeup list was very interesting, I very much agree with a lot of them. I really admire how he's honest and real with everything and points out how just because it doesn't work for him doesn't mean its bad in general. I've been a sister for years!! James, thank you for the video! As for the palette, it’s one of those slow buildable types, when you start at what seems to be nothing, but as you build it up, it stays in place forever. This is just not very popular with younger professionals, and maybe for the good reason, but they have similar products with the same formula and they are being sold out very fast. No hate, bc at the end of the day, every person should use what’s more comfortable for them. Have a nice weekend, best wishes from Israel!

I bought elf camo concealer after seeing a lot of influencers going crazy about it. When I tried it, it was just weird on my skin. When I used MAC prep + prime after applying the concealer, my concealer just separated completely. I thought something was wrong with my skin or my concealer.

The jelly pop primer is back and I can say James was right the primer works so good for my skin type.
i’m so relieved i’m not the only one who’s not a fan of the e.l.f. primer + camo concealer! they’re so popular, i thought i must be missing something.
I had the same problems with the Elf concealer, but I LOVE the new hydrating camo concealer!!
I still love James for everything he did for me. I would go to my Practice or go places with full makeup and my hair done just because of him, he boosted my confidence and now im able to be happy for who i am

I did some research on the eyeshadow palate. If you want information it is the Dior palate, $63
The tubing mascara only comes off easily by pulling on it if you wet your eyelashes with warm water first. Definitely don’t try to pull on them dry, you’ll have no eyelashes left!

I’m having the same experience with the elf concealer too! I thought I was going crazy thinking it was just my skin (just turned 25 💀), but I’m glad to know I’m not the only one the creasing has happened to!

Hydrating camp concealer is what I use, ngl, as someone who has Asian like skin tones (daughter of an Asian mother), finding one that conceals in the right shade is so hard. So I use a lighter shade under my eyes instead
