- HI SISTERS! I decided to try out a ton of Makeup from SHEIN! They're known for fast fashion and knock off clothing, but I didn't even know they had makeup too! @@sabrinaizabelle It's because he's a makeup artist so Some things just, doesn't look good to him. and I also know because my mom is a makeup artist and she doesn't think shein makeup is good she uses James Charles or her owns.
Hey girl! Remember he has a LOT of good lighting and camera effects on to make it look smoothed etc. The makeup he used regardless is *actually* quite bad, it's caused quite a few people including myself skin reacted HORRIBLY and most of the products are quite dry or bad quality (also from an accredited MUA point of view)

Fsssssss. Sheins makeup got way better quality. I ordered a contour stick like he had in this video around this time and then I just got one in the mail and it was 10x better

Um to all the people saying he’s just bougie and can’t look past price : first of all it maybe look good on camera but that doesn’t mean it will last or that it is comfortable. Second he was applying the makeup and knows how well it went on. He is a professional so he could make any crappy makeup look decent🙂 third, he knows what he is doing. He is a pro and although he might be more spoiled than us with expensive brands, he does know how makeup should go on and how it should feel/look.
he’s not spoiled. he works hard for his money. it took him years to get him to where he is now. you’re 100% right. i don’t know why people are assuming the complete opposite!

Those who are saying that are people who have already tried sheglam products and since I have also done it, I can affirm that the makeup is not bad at all in relation to quality-price, the foundation is the only one on the market with an affordable price and that is available in my country that covers my vitiligo and the loose powders are really good, no product feels heavy on the skin, even for me that I am very picky with putting things on my face I hate the feeling of makeup melting on my face and with that foundation it doesn't happen, the only bad thing I could see in the video was the concealer that is to blame for the product moving as james pointed out, at that time the formula was very dry and cracked, for Good luck, they already updated the formula and it is much better than the previous one without marking the lines of expression. SHEGLAM's makeup is obviously not amazing, but taking into account the price and how easy it is to bring it to your country, it easily competes with makeup from a drugstore or walmart (PD: sorry if my English is bad)

I think these products are great for the price! I have Sheglam products myself and I love them! They are great quality and I can't complain! The make-up looks great in my opinion!💗💗
I know that James is used to high end expensive makeup, but has he ever done any makeup looks for regular people on a budget that he didn't absolutely hate?

i have a few shein makeup products and they arent that good.. my acne has doubled since i got them . the only reason i got shein products cause its affordable.

For this to be shien makeup I do agree that it looks stunning. I think nowadays a lot of people don’t have the money to go out and buy high end makeup products. Therefore this is definitely a dupe! Especially in that sunlight!
I actually just ordered a bunch of makeup from Shein so I decided to just randomly watch some reviews to see what other people think. Honestly, it's some of the best quality makeup I have ever tried.

The reason why it’s got so many good reviews is because shein shoppers can write a good review and get points which goes towards money off their products :)

I love this look sooo much! Even though there not the best products you made it look so fancy and like it came from expensive products! The outfit might not go well with it but if it was matched to the outfit it would be even better! My opinion is you look good in everything!

The makeup look you did looked amazing on you brought out your eye color a little bit but you can tell that the foundation was coming off when you put concealer and the bronzer cream on and the blush was just not cutting cutting it at all but at the end of the video it didn't turn out bad

It's mostly because of his lighting and the face effects most CZcamsrs put on that smoothes everything etc!❤️ Shein products are genuinely NOT amazing and most of the time causes a lot of skin problems way more than other brands😅

I’ve ordered from Shein before and they literally spam you with emails about reviewing products and then if you do you get lots of point which can get you discounts for the next order so I think that why there’s so many reviews

That “warning” is literally on everything I’ve bought headboard, organizers etc.) from wayfair and Walmart with that warning, if and item that has a chemical on the list of this proposition and it’s sold or available to be sold to California people legally they have to put that warning on it. It is called proposition 65 . Which has to do with California’s water supply being contaminated with chemicals a long time ago. Its a warning that really doesn’t matter, you don’t need to worry about it.

Not true the water contamination and other contamination’s are a big deal.
Exposure to harmful chemicals is something you should be worried about lol. All that cheap furniture from Wayfair and Walmart typically contain formaldehyde, hence the warning.

I think the makeup looked fine. Personally I wouldn't choose SHEIN as a place to shop for makeup because I would be worried about the quality of the products, but I have bought some really cute clothes from SHEIN.

I'm 44 and just started getting really into colors and playing with makeup, and tried shien before more expensive brands. Honestly, it's pretty good! I've since moved to better brands, but still have a few shein pallets I reach for! I'm also VERY new to beauty youtube and just found your channel! (Don't come for me 😂 I can tell you're big by the subscriber count, but new to me!) I thought this look turned out very pretty!

Y'all the makeup was fine given the fact that the price is 📉📉. It does look good because first, the lighting and the set up is everything. Second, it's james face duhh he's gorgeous purr. To be fair it’s not easy to make blues look presentable or neutral. So I think if he woulda added a liner, it would have tied it together but it really wasn’t bad.
I’ve actually tried a few of the shein eyeshadow palettes and I really love them, I ordered the primer a few days ago and I’m not really sure if ill like it, I’m definitely picky with primers
