- In today's video, I tried out a FULL FACE of makeup from Essence! I've gotten so many requests to try this brand. Some of the products were the worst I've ever tried, but I did find some diamonds in the rough. Let me know what you think!!

Essence literally has a tattoo covering full coverage concealer which is top tier tbh
He always does this. You can tell when he's going to use products from a brand that's not owned by one of his "friends" or someone who is trending when he already starts with an attitude, as if he wants to dislike the products. These would be much more entertaining if he always tried best instead of acting like a brat lol.

@kaseylisk5019 You're entitled to your opinion, even though James has had some videos where he's reviewed products from people he doesn't know that he's said very good things about, which is kind of the opposite of what you claim...but okay lol. Some people just look for any little thing they can to call out someone that they just don't like for whatever reason and should just be real about it, but that's just my opinion. 🙂
I looked up essence on my ulta and the only concealer available for me is the one he used. So I’m wondering if he shopped on ulta bc every product he used was on there and there isn’t a whole lotta options
James, babe, essence is not a British brand, its actually a German brand lmaoo and most of the products you tried are so bad, there’s so many better ones://

needs to do a pt 2, this brand has some really good quality stuff.. james just chose the worst ones. Minus the mascara, that’s the only mascara i’ll ever use the pink one is the best one

Yeahh and I really recommend the fix it like a boss transparent brow fixing gel extra strong, it really holds your brows in the same position the whole day!

As someone who doesn’t wear a lot of makeup at all, Essence is a pretty good and affordable brand. It’s definitely not fit for professional makeup, or people who do a full proper face. But, for people like me, who will just fill in eyebrows and cover my eye bags ever so slightly, and tiny bit of blush, it gets the job done no problem.
I totally relate; Essence is so affordable and it's for that daily clean simple make up.

as far as ive noticed the keep me covered concealer isnt the best one. I use camouflage+ matt concealer in shade light ivory and its never failed me. stays on all day, full coverage, easy to use and generally i really love it

I'm a Canadian and I use the lash princess mascara and it's actually so good I use the water proof and it doesn't smuge at all and I love it sm!

a lot of their other complexion products are amazing!!! you also may be seeing a lot of the separation of products if you’re mixing a silicone base (the foundation) with a water base (the primer)

Essence is my favourite brand because I found it long lasting and quite good enough for a person who isn't a makeup professional. I mostly do minimalist naural looks, but those times I glam up I also use Essence, for me it doesn't wear off during a long day or party hours. Don't drag Essence, we common people love it
The accent is giving Australia and the eye shadow look is giving Ursula SLAY
I think essence has some really good products,however some are....questionable.But it was very exciting watching you try it!🥰

personally i am in love with the mascaras! the waterproof one (aka the teal blue one) and the sculpted volume mascara (purple one) they are really amazing
I use the Fresh and Fit foundation from essence and it’s truly my fav full coverage foundation from the drugstore it lasts so good during the day, I have even used it to do drag and it works great .
You need to try the essence lip glosses, they’re actually amazing!!

I actually love their mascaras, I use them everyday. typically I layer them (green & pink or green & purple) they turn out so well.

You should definitely do a full face of makeup from collection! They have some really good products. I would totally recommend the illuminating touch concealer if you want a light coverage concealer to brighten your under eyes. x 🩷

I actually really love the got you covered foundation, it's a nice medium to full covered foundation with a lightweight finish, And I have to say their liquid liner works really wonderful too

I have the same lip stick and honestly I love it! I also agree that it’s a little more peachy more than a mix of a peachy color and brownish 🎉
I usually use essence, actually their concealer, but not the one you used in the video, also I use their powder, I found it great, and contouring, also not the one in the video, and brouw pencil, also another, and some their lipstick (guess what... also not from this video). I like some their products, because they're cheap and satisfying. Not perfect, but not that awful. And, btw, my favourite mascara is by Maybelline. That one with purple covering. It makes my lashes perfect
Essence has some incredible makeup! 😊 Use to have a gloss lipstick from them, and it was stunning 😊

The I love extreme Mascara by Essence (pink tube) is literally the best mascara ever and i thank the lord everyday for it being so cheap... I remember once getting the Better Than S*x Mascara because it was hyped so much but it was so disappointing and on top of that hella expensive.. Benefit, L'Oreal, Maybellin etc... literally none could compare to my 3€ i love extreme mascara lol

I absolutely love the essence lash mascara…but obviously (and no hate bc I love you James) if you do a bold eyeshadow look, it isn’t gonna look the best. But for girlies like me that love natural looks and dont use eyeshadow, it’s SO SO SO good and it looks amazing. I got all the girls in my family on it and they LOVE it. ❤❤ thank you for your honest reviews, I’m just letting you know how I feel about the mascara!
