I know the rule but I do not follow it but my lashes are soo ruined
i do it every time but i wait for the mascara to dry and my lashes are doing great🤪

When people say you can get an eye infection from liner in the waterline, it is true for some. However, if you don't have a chronic eye condition, or problem with clogged tear ducts on the regular, it is way less worrisome ❤

I've been using a dry sponge for a year or so and it's so much better for me, it absorbs less foundation / concealer and everything applies better (as long as you used moisturizer).

Oh my god the eyes are GORGEOUS! the color theory 💙 really cool how the rule breaking worked out. I agree with you about the brows though. I do my brows after foundation for this exact reason. Otherwise, this worked out great! But I dunno if I can switch from a wet beauty blender to a dry one lol. That’s a step too far girl :P
I stopped wearing heavy makeup, or most makeup in general in 2020. I never stopped watching you James. I don’t own anything but some powder and mascara but I still feel apart of the makeup community through you❤

I think i stopped wearing makeup because I was wearing it for other people and not myself. Once I realized I don’t need to impress anyone, and I just need to be myself, makeup kinda became obsolete in my routine

I love this video it was amazing I’ve definitely broken some of these rules and haven’t really noticed much of a difference except for the eyelash curling cause I’ve never done that before and i am scared to but most of these I’ve tried and broken and I haven’t noticed anything except the dry beauty blender I have noticed something like that but the rest I haven’t noticed the difference also you looked stunning in the end as always sister!!! Definitely trying out your new brand when it releases and comes out!! Super excited sister!!!

I’d love to see you do a video on testing some makeup myths, does foundation last the same amount of time with and without powder? Does the amount of setting spray you use actually make a difference etc, would be rly cool

Honestly, I think this is one of the best looks I've ever seen on James. That eye shadow look and the lips is just insane
Yes the curling eyelash rule is true. From experience. I lost ALL my eyelashes on one eye after re curling. Took months to grow out and had to put eyeliner on to give the illusion I still had lashes

A dry sponge gives a more full converge and a damp sponge is gives you more of a dewy look.
