The rainbow thing is actually not that bad. Obviously not for a regular look, but you can sort of have a fun glam kind of party with a crazy look with something like that. I could see someone using the technique to create some cool designs.

honestly as someone who does her own nails, the toothbrush nail thing is an actual thing, its called fibreglass nails and its the exact same technique.

James please read this: Honnestly this is so funny!!! the first hack is in my daily routine!! it saves me so much time! but you gotta use a little bit of product and push the brush gently on the face in multiple directions. use different parts of the brush and leave some parts of the brush empty also for a more realistic look! and i use brow pomade!! that stays on for most of the day :) and i can soften them up for a more realistic look
