Its absolutely not correct. This statement is generally given by Romanticist Nationalists who curse Foreign Invaders on invading India “Why others attacked us when we never attacked others”. India was so big and there were so many kingdoms that they mostly attacked each other, attacking and controlling other’s land was logistically not possible. But all Indian kingdoms which were in the periphary of Indian subcontinent did attack and ruled others. Example- Sikhs (Afghanistan, Tibbet), Dogra (Afghanistan, Tibbet), Mauryas (Iran, Baluchistan, Afghanistan), Cholas (Myanmar, Thailand, Malayasia, Indonesia), Vanga (SriLanka).

I feel that the word "colonization" has such a negative connotation that placing it with Yoga in the same sentence tarnishes the depth and beauty of Indic thought process. It's true that Yoga has become a global phenomenon but "Adhyatm" which is a crucial appendage of yogic practices (read asanas), also needs to be incorporated and integrated into the western mindset.

(Qur'an; chp. 35, verse 18). Each human being is born with a pure conscience which can absorb and accept the true message of God. It is only the social and familial influences which take a person away from God's message.

      Brahma ~ spread it
      Ashvamedha Yajna
Ashvamedha Yajna is a ritual performed by Queens (particularly by chief queen) for fertility and also to gain power in the kingdom. The Ashvamedha Yajna includes slaughtering the horse, then follows the queen’s intercourse with the horse, then the horse is cut into pieces and cooked.

Vishnu is said to have raped Tulsi/Vrinda by assuming the guise of her husband.
Indra was very popular among gods and sages for ravishing others’ wives and had done this to Ahalya by assuming the form of her husband Sage Gautama.
Srimad Bhagavatam 9.14.4 ”After conquering the three worlds [the upper, middle and lower planetary systems], Soma, the moon-god, performed a great sacrifice known as the Rājasūya-yajña. Because he was very much puffed up, he forcibly kidnapped Bṛhaspati’s wife, whose name was Tara”.
Srimad Bhagavatam 9.20.36 ”When the demigod named Bṛhaspati was attracted by his brother’s wife, Mamata, who at that time was pregnant, he desired to have sexual relations with her. The son within her womb forbade this, but Bṛhaspati cursed him and forcibly discharged semen into the womb of Mamata
      Devi Bhagavatam 2.6.13-35
Surya is the Sun-God and several hymns of Vedas are dedicated to him. He raped the virgin Kunti. Kunti was just examining her mystic power and the sun god appeared before her and was smitten with passion after seeing young and beautiful Kunti and then raped her.
Rama married six years old Sita.
Skanda Purana Book, III, Section 2, Chapter 30, Verses 8-9 “The bow of Isvara that was kept in the abode of Janaka, was broken. In his fifteenth year, O king, Rama married the six year old beautiful daughter of the king of Mithila, Sita who was not born of a womb. On getting Sita, Raghava became contented and happy.
Krishna married eight years old Rukmini and many prepubescent girls
As per Puranas, Krishna is said to have married prepubescent Rukmini when she was only eight years old. Although Hindu text doesn’t mention the age of Krishna at the time of his marriage with Rukmini but the way Hindu text describes him shows that he was an adult at the time of his marriage with prepubescent Rukmini. And other Puranas also shows his sexual intercourse after marriage which is enough to prove that he was a fully grown man.

      Hindu scriptures promoting paedophilia
Manu Smriti 9.94 A man, aged thirty years, shall marry a maiden of twelve who pleases him, or a man of twenty-four a girl eight years of age; if (the performance of) his duties would (otherwise) be impeded, (he must marry) sooner.
Manu Smriti 9.88 To a distinguished, handsome suitor (of) equal (caste) should (a father) give his daughter in accordance with the prescribed rule, though she have not attained (the proper age).
Parasara Smriti 7.5-6 When the twelfth year is reached by the female child, if the guardian does not give her away in marriage, her fore-fathers drink, without interruption, during each succeeding month, whatever blood is passed in her courses. The mother, and the father, and likewise the eldest brother, all these three relatives will go to hell, if before menstruation they neglect to marry the girl.
Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Brahma Kanda, 10.125-134
Ashvinkumara was the son of the Sun God. He is said to have raped a Brahmin lady and impregnated her.
The Hindu scripture lists several forms of marriages, one of them is known as Rakshasa marriage. Rape and abduction of females is legitimized under this form of marriage. Maharshi Manu explains Rakshasa marriage in the following way,
Manu Smriti 3.33 The forcible abduction of a maiden from her home, while she cries out and weeps, after (her kinsmen) have been slain or wounded and (their houses) broken open, is called the Rakshasa rite.
Padma Prana VI.118.2-15 “…A man should marry his daughter as long as she has not attained puberty. Wise men recommend a girl’s marriage when she is eight years old…
Samvarta Samhita verses 66-68 “[A maiden] eight years [old] becomes Gouri; one of nine years a Rohini; and of ten years, a Kanya (maiden); and after that, a Rajasvala (a woman in menses). By seeing a maiden in menses, her mother, father and eldest brother these three go to hell. Therefore one should espouse a maiden before she has menstruated; the marriage of an eight years old maiden is most preferrable.”
      Hindu virgins in heaven
Parashara Smriti 3.28-29 Celestial damsels seize for themselves, and take delight with the hero, whose body is wounded or cut by arrows, clubs, or maces. Thousands of celestial damsels, rush forward in a hurry towards a hero killed in battle, each proclaiming, ‘He is my lord, he is mine’.
Parashara Smriti 3.31 If victorious, wealth is won; if death results, beautiful women fall to his share; since this corporeal frame is liable to perish in an instant’s time, why should we be shy of meeting death on a field of battle?
Mahabharata 12.98.46-51 ”Foremost of Apsaras, numbering by thousands, go out with great speed (for receiving the spirit of the slain hero) coveting him for their lord.”
Mahabharata 13.106.53-55 ”’…That man who, unafflicted by disease and free from every malady, observes a fast, verily acquires, at every step the merits that attach to Sacrifices. Such a man ascends to Heaven on a car drawn by swans. Endued with puissance, he enjoys every kind of happiness in heaven for a hundred years. A hundred Apsaras of the most beautiful features wait upon and sport with him…”
Brahma Vaivarta Purana, Krishna Janma Khanda 59.77-103 ”…Virtuous men, after having performed sacred deeds in India, go to heaven and there attended by celestial damsels enjoy celestial bliss for a long time…Fair one, this Heaven is not a field of action; it is a place of enjoyment. And of all enjoyments, association with an excellent woman is the best…

True, however Manu is not an allegory, he was a real being created by God. Evolution is complete and utter fallacy promulgated by the same psychotic asura worshipping elites which bring all other nonsense. We have to go back to the Source materials and Vedic Vidya.

    1) Colonisation is very bad word & painful in its imagination itself .
    2) So please guru ji don't use this negative word in the perspective of YOGA & Vaidic Sanatana Dharma.
    3) Vadic Sanatana Dharma people can never think of colonisation especially economically & identically .
    4) We just hope world remain full of diversity & nobody imposes something bad thing on others .
    5) We must learn good things from each other & preach good things & give proper respect to each other .
    6) Many selfish & fanatical people don't want good things to learn & follow. Even if they do , they rebrand & rename Yoga just because they dontbwant to give credit to others for sth good .
    7) They must respect they culture & community from where YOGA has emanated or who has nurtured & preserved for centuries .
    8) All the chantings & Mantras & tried & tested by our ancient sages , so without proper Chanting the bless of YOGA is incomplete .
    9) The most beautiful thing of the VADIC SANATANA DHARMA is that while it look aggregated from outside but it promotes individualism .
