- The CT5-V Black wing is a luxury powerhouse from Cadillac. On the outside you will notice the V-series grill, 19in wheels, Brembo brakes and functional side fender vents. On the inside you will be greeted by a full leather interior with performance bucket seats. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged V8 mated to a 10-speed manual gearbox. This is one of the few cars I can't find anything wrong with. Great looks and performance inside and out, with room for others. Just a badass machine.
Found the problem. It has 4 doors.
Only thing I don’t like are the decals and stripes they throw on these cars
If I want performance I'm getting a m3 or m4 xdrive. It would obliterate this car. If I want a good sounding v8 I'd get a lexus lc500 over this

The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is the greatest performance sedan of all time coming out of a factory. Doesn't matter if it's not the fastest, the way it accelerates and drives while banging gears and enjoying the melody of a supercharged LT4 engine beats any sedan out there.

I still think the Giula Quadrifoglio is more engaging and fun. Obviously smaller. Different. But that thing is just amazing to drive. Steering, handling. Sounds great, too.

Went with brother yesterday, Orlando, he bought a blacked out 2024 CT5-V Blackwing, 6 speed. It is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I got to say, a bit overwhelmed with the power at first. Brother drove it back to north Florida, I drove home in my old car, ha ha. I am ready to go back up and check it out again. Words: tight, aggressive, audible, sensory, G-Force, secure, amazing, torque galore, a sensation like no other.
CTS-V Wagon with a 6 Speed is still my favorite Cadillac.
I'd take this over the AMG all day, twice on Sunday. Got to drive a manual version in 2022 and am still infatuated. Keep em coming team Raiti!

Hi Joe. I had a "black" 1991 ZR-1. I'm with you. I will never own another black car. 2 years ago I almost bought a V3 CTS-V, after owning a V2 for 5 years. I'm glad I didn't. I bought a 2016 Z06 instead and I'm loving it. Thanks for the video!

I was having my Cadillac serviced a few months back & they had a top of the line Black wing inside,this thing had every race option. Carbon winglets,ground effects,kinnards & even Laguna Seca race logos on it. It was 104k but this is surely not you're daddy's Caddy! Amazing cars..

Haven't finished the video yet, but to answer the question; I would 100000000% pick this CT5-V Blackwing, no question. The fact that you can get this in a manual makes it an automatic pick. Now if we were talking about the OLDER E 63 AMG with that massive displacement V8 well..... even in no manual, that's some good competition. Those older AMG V8's were incredible.

It would have been nice if they had blue seat belts to match the calipers and blue top dead center on the steering wheel!
Here's hoping the 2025 will let us spec different seatbelt colors. Red only works with neutral shades and, well, red. The TRX had the same issue; "red accent stitching", because screw anyone who wants a blue or yellow truck.

Absolutely beautiful machine ! The only thing I can even think that it is missing is Super Cruise at $105,000.
Can't get SuperCruise if you opt for the suede-wrapped steering wheel.
Edit: Apparently this doesn't have either, so yeah that's unfortunate. Odd not to go for one or the other.

My brother just received his 2024 Mercedes S580. It sat in a Baltimore shipping yard for 2 months before they would release it to the dealership. He finally picked it up in early November and it has spent the last 5 weeks in the dealer awaiting a new computer. The car kept throwing a check engine light for no reason. My Blackwing has been perfect, for 50k less money.

The fact that this car looks like the Batmobile, is called the Blackwing and reminds me of Nightwing (black with blue stripes) and Batman lol somehow is very intriguing to me and makes me want to buy it. I’m all for the eerie DC Comics vibes 🤣🤣

It is definitely a beautiful car, the exhaust sound is just amazing. The only question I have is is it really the last year for this car? I’ve heard this since 2021 that it was being phased out. Beginning to think it is just a reason for dealerships to continue charging above MSRP on this car. I would have probably bought one in 2022 if it weren’t for the outrageous prices being asked. Love your videos!!

Love the CT5 BW. Amazing car but I prefer the design of the CTS style. I have the last year 19 CTS-V in all black with carbon, Recaros etc. one of my favorite cars ever!! Cadillac has done an amazing job with their V cars.

There's currently a red CT-5 Blackwing at Cadillac of Knoxville with a manual for anyone interested. I just happened to see it today. Manual with Carbon Fiber Pkg. Certified pre-owned.

When these came out I said I wanted to trade my Z06 and my SRT for one and my son said I was nuts but I think I would still do it in a heartbeat. Never seen one on the road or even for sale here in Canada though.

I agree with J.R., GM Performance Division should have retuned the LT4 supercharged 6.2 Liter V-8 for the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, or at least had that LT5 supercharged 6.2 Liter V-8 for both the CT5-V Blackwing and Camaro ZL1. Both cars would have been awesome

The Blackwing is definitely a super fine ride. Love these newer Caddy’s but way out of my price range.
This is definitely a ‘wish-u-had-me’ car. And dressed in triple black sweetens up the deal. I could on throttle this V all day long!

Have a CT4 Sport and ready to turn it in for the CT4 BW of CT5 V. I can't justify $105k for a car. I drove the 4BW and it was sick and more than enough. My biggest reason for possibly going with the 5V is I have an 8-year-old he plays hockey and I probably need a little more legroom in the back and in the trunk.
