- Today Architectural Digest is welcomed by actress Maude Apatow to tour her first New York apartment. The 'Euphoria' star has always dreamed of moving to New York and doing theater, so when a chance to star off-Broadway came knocking she knew it was time to start her East Coast life. As far as first NYC apartments go, Apatow lucked out with plenty of natural light in her cozy 1-bed-a rare commodity in the Big Apple. With the help of Soho Home, Apatow has created a soft, feminine vibe accentuated by pastel pinks, boucle textures, and no shortage of cat-themed art, making it the perfect haven to relax after a big show. “If a younger version of me saw this, she would be freaking out. It’s been my dream since I was like, five.”

Being a former New Yorker myself, it's clear to me that the size and quality of Maude’s apartment represents a very reasonable ideal which many young people aspire to in the city, yet, realistically, remains a vastly unattainable dream for most.
There’s no way she bought it herself. It’s obvious her parents bought it for her. Most 20 somethings in New York are not living in luxury like this. 😂

@@Priyanka77574 She's been acting quite a bit over the last few years. Euphoria isn't a small show. So, even without her parents helping her, she's probably made enough to have bought it herself. I'm all for calling out nepotism, but Maude stays to herself and doesn't bother anybody, so we don't really need to state the obvious about who her parents are or knock her down because she has the means.

This interview gives the vibe of i knew the AD producers and editors since I was a kid because they’d come for Sunday brunch and they just casually asked if I wanted to be on the channel because her space is beautiful and I’m glad she loves it but it’s really unremarkable.

Yep, agreed. Because green grapes will stay fresher for longer when stored in the fridge, as well. But those fruit bowls 'look pretty' for photography.

Idk, I keep a real bowl of fruit in the house that we eat, and it’s refilled when we grocery shop 🤷🏻♀️.
I find it hilarious, in a very respectful way, when nepo babies act incredulous when they get what they wanted. I don't know if they don't realize who they are or they just want to seem relatable to the rest of the other people. It's very interesting 🤔

I love everything about the decoration, the entryway is fabulous so out of the reality, feels like a fairytale, the salon is so cosy and relaxing with a little bit of decoration but a bright room, the bedroom a light pink a bright pretty pink and the bed looks very comfortable. Love it

She has no idea how fortunate she is. She’s only 26 and lives in an apartment like that in New York. The vast majority of New Yorkers could never afford an apartment like that.

It's lovely! Bold yet playful and serene. But certainly not a 20-something-year-old's apartment in NYC. She's bi-coastal so I'd love to see what she lives in LA. I know she's had some acting roles, but thank you Mom and Dad would be more like it. Maybe they invested and she pays the rent? I rented a studio apartment for 5 years before I could afford a 1 b/r and at the time I was a buyer for Bloomingdale's! She is giggling at the size of the living room yet it's the size of many/most entire NYC apts. Definitely has a Hollywood perspective on life. Hope she adapts and becomes a New Yorker.
